I have setup the pod and can only get very low sound levels in my DAW which is ableton, I would be fine except for this problem everything else seems fine, how do i alter the output volume to the jacks, I think i have done this but still not high enough output level for a decent recording. I am using jacks out and USB into computer.
Thanks
Steve
you need to tell ableton to use the usb ASIO drivers for the x3.
you also need your speakers plugged into the X3.
I have done both of these and can hear and record using the x3, but the level i get going into the DAW is low and no where near being able to peak? If i turn the nmaster volume up it still isnt strong enough, there has to be a setting somewhere in the x3 that im missing, ableton is setup right.
Thanks
what input have you selected in ableton?
if you have input 7/8 selected it will be the low input or dry track....
there are 8 usb inputs coming out of the x3....
not sure which abletone would pick as default.
I have input 1 and 2 selected, i seem to have got better levels and can turn up drive on x3 to achieve level needed. But i am having a strange problem it seems that when i use the different pre set bass sounds after a while they all sound very similar? How should the outputs on the x3 be setup if i am using the jack outs?
Also when i use the x3 as an audio interface which i thought i could, if i play any music through it the sound becomes distorted like i have a danged speaker, but when i use my old aidio interface (focusrite) it is fine so its not the speakers thats the problem.
Anyone any ideas?
Cheers
