I have had this issue a few times and here is what I do when it happens.
- Turn the Line6 pod off.
- Unplug usb from computer side of port.
- Restart the computer.
- Wait for it to fully start.
- Move USB to another port on the computer
- Turn on the pod
- Start the Pod Edit program.
Also i use a laptop so i had to go in to my computer setting and make sure that the USB is not shutting down for power saving.
