Error transferring patches, help needed!

Greetings folks!

Right to the chase, I've been playing HD 500 for almost a year and a half with no issues, and all of the sudden, when I try to start HD 500 Edit, it displays this:

..and absolutely nothing helps, not a POD restart, reinstaling Edit, Drivers, Flash, I even heard one guy saying he had a USB cable problem which manifested like this, so I even tried another USB cable and no change!

What should I do?
Thank you all!

I have had this issue a few times and here is what I do when it happens.

    1. Turn the Line6 pod off.
    2. Unplug usb from computer side of port.
    3. Restart the computer.
    4. Wait for it to fully start.
    5. Move USB to another port on the computer
    6. Turn on the pod
    7. Start the Pod Edit program.

Also i use a laptop so i had to go in to my computer setting and make sure that the USB is not shutting down for power saving.
