Workbench thru a FBV Express

Does any one know if a computer will reconize a James tyler variax guitar thru a FBV express? My brand new guitar came from Sweetwater yesterday with scraches and the usb hub and usb cable missing. Well I thought I was buy a new guitar.

won't work... you need to have sweetwater make this right for you.

I would send it back. It is a bummer but you should not get a scrathed up guitar and missing the things that come with it.
