Well. I have downloaded some new tones. How do I actually get them inti my POD xt? Though I have connected the unit to the USB, nothing seems to happen.

You need to use Line 6 Edit, the Pod XT editor that runs on your computer. Run Line 6 Monkey and use it to help you download and install the Line 6 Edit program.

    Note that I edited my earlier reply; I think you need Line 6 Edit, not Gearbox.

      you can use gearbox also....

        I thought so - that's why I said Gearbox first. But then I see that in the Downloads section, when you specify Pod XT as the product, and Gearbox as the software - it says no match found. Maybe a glitch in the Downloads matching algorithm?

        might just be a glitch, for certain OS's too...?

Yeah use GearBox.
