So is there a DT5 on the way?

I'm gassing for an easier to use, more flexible and configurable amp for my HD500. But I only need bedroom volume. With all the talk of DT25/attenuators setups, don't we think it's time for a DT5? Any sense out here in the community if there's demand (seems so) and if it might possibly be coming? I'd place an order the moment it was announced.
What say everyone?
That isn't a bad idea or maybe they should design an attenuator specifically to be used with the modeling amplifiers.
Well, seems like there's some decent attenuator solutions out there already. But $800+ for the DT25 then $300+ for a Dr. Z attenuator just to do what maybe you could accomplish for a $500 DT5? Gotta be a market for it.
As long as there is a market, I agree. Not sure I would invest after the fact. They should have implemented the LVM better (as far as I know LVM is software controlled and they could still fix it).
not really the same thing... LVM invokes the full models with the power amp modeling... an attenuator still makes full use of the power amp and real tubes sans modeling...
i don't think they could fix LVM in that manner, because it would seem to me that an outboard attenuator is a hardware deal and not software...
True LVM is not tube. On ther other hand at low volume tube vs model makes less difference. Other than that I think my main issue with LVM is the fixed gain saturation. It should vary with channel volume in a similar way to the master in full mode.
