Forced to rename presets on m5?

Hello!

Here is my question...on my M 5 stompbox modeler:

When I want to load a factory named effect- like 'Red Comp' to a pre set location, it will correctly load the effect--replacing the original--- but retain the original name of the previous effect.

Am I forced to re-name every new effect that I enter into the preset mode to allow it to appear in it's original name?

I'm a pretty new guitar player...a rookie, so I'd really be happy to hear any comments or advice!

Thanks, Mike

You don't have to rename your presets when you re-save them, but you'd probably want to name them something that makes sense to you. But, yes, if you want your preset name to essentially match the effect that the preset uses, you'll have to re-name them. The M5 won't do it automatically.
