I don't gotta start a petition do I?

There's no way I'm the only person looking for the Big Bottom, and other desktop podfarm sims to be ported to the Pod HD series, right?!
There's no way I'm the only one who wants trails on delay and reverb and such!
Please tell me I'm not the first to be this upset, that my old ux2 out-performs my new HD Pro. Shouldn't line 6's gear be more linked together??
Or am I crazy?
such a loaded range of questions... but anyway the bottom line is that the new HD stuff has 10x the "digital dna" of the pod farm stuff...
so yeah... you trade some things for higher quality amp models... if you like pod farm stick with it...
even the XT and X3 didn't have "trails" in the typical sense...
that and "outperforms" is a wildly inaccurate claim... when you really mean "baconthemighty likes it better" which is apparently quite accurate.
just like anything else... they are not linked together... out with the old and in with the new...
you're more than welcome to stick with the old if it pleases you.
I miss this, an actual intelligent person.
While you're right the newer HD models are reeeeally nice, it'l never match up to how easy it was working with the bigbottom. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to just get a dinky ux1, because I could relate it to my old 6505, 95% of the time, no matter where the knobs are even at, the tone will sound amazing. With the HD Pro it takes some work, and then you finally get something you're comfortable with, then realize you're gonna be using it on the computer which means turning cab simulation back on, switching the whole thing to studio mode instead of power amp mode, just to find out it sounds like bees in a cup pressed against my ear.
And you were right on the trails, that was my mistake. After growing so attached to the DL4, I got in my brain "yeah, line 6 knows how to handle effects, obviously" but switching patches is just awkward.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
