Help!
Running Mac OSX (10.7.5)
I have Pod Farm associated with my old UX1, but upgraded to an X3 Pro with Pod Farm 2 and some various packs.
Although I am still able to open my tone files with Pod Farm, I am unable to open them with Pod Farm 2.
Under preferences in PF2, I see that I can associate the files with PF2, but the boxes are greyed out and there is a note advising that I must be a system administrator to change file associations. Thing is: I *am* the system adminstrator.
When I go to PF, prefs, I see that same boxes checked, but again, they're greyed out, so I cannot change them. Must I uninstall PF in order to use the files with PF2?
Thanks for help!
the x3 doesnt come with a pf2 license are you sure you have one? also the x3 needs to be connected
X3 connected. PF2 licensed.
Seems like I must be missing a simple step to un-greying those boxes...
Have you run Line 6 License Manager to authorize your equipment?
Yep, shows both computer and X3 are authorized...
Just for clarification:
Have you actually purchased a separate license for POD Farm 2 (not counting the one that may have been bundled with the UX)?
sounds like it could possibly be an apple problem, have you "repaired permissions" i think it's an option in the properties on your hard drive... but i gave up on mac's a while back.... so i can't be any more specific than that.
