Periphery POD HD Pro Tones--Deadhorse Studio

Hello all! My name is Lincoln, and I go by Rawritslink on the forums/tones.

I'm pretty new to the Line 6 POD family, but recently, I've been really into tone-matching, and wanted to give some awesome tones out for everyone---to the Periphery fans!

How I got these tones:

I took a deep look at the settings Misha Mansoor and Adam "Nolly" Getgood had in their Axe Fx II tones they recently release a couple days back.

I matched exactly what they had for those settings via Pod HD Edit, and tested them out...turns out that on the POD HD Pro, they sound SICK!

Anyways, enough of the nerdy stuff, here are the tone names:

"Erised" - This tone wasn't released on the Axe Fx, but I spent a good 2 hours or so getting the certain parameters accurate and glassy-sounding. If the delay is set at 315ms, you can play the intro ambient guitar of "Erised" by Periphery.

"Bulb Lead Patch" - Very ampy and full, this is one of my favorites. First time I dialed this in, I was amazed with how accurate it sounded!

"Bulb Rhythm Patch" - Misha Mansoor's personal rhythm tone...when dialed in, it sounds pretty darn close to the actual axe fx tones he created...but on the much cheaper, better Pod HD Pro!

"Bulb Clean Patch" - This one is kinda iffy, considering there isn't a HD Amp model of a Bogner Shiva. It sounds meh, but you all can switch things around until you're pleased.

"Nolly Rhythm Patch" - Nolly's personal rhythm tone...when dialed in, it sounds like Misha's, except slightly more aggressive and crisp.

Look for these in the Custom Tones! And if you like the tones, please support me and like my studio page!

Enjoy everyone!

UPDATE 2/10

I have a little tone test put up for those who wanna hear what they sound like in action (just the bulb tones tentatively). Keep in mind that this is just on a 6-string. I don't want to try them on my 7-string, because it has active pickups.

UPDATE 2/15

Jake Bowen just released his patches, and I've attempted to duplicate them based on his Axe Fx Patches. The cleans don't sound as great, again due to the lack of a Bogner Shiver model on the Pod HD Pro, but I tried my best anyways. On another side note, I also finally got to doing Nolly's Lead Patch. I uploaded these all to the customtone. Here's my description of them:

"Jake Dreamless Patch" - This is a watered-down version of the Red Giant patch Jake out with. I guess you could use this for lead lines in ambient soundscapes or whatever.

"Jake Red Giant Patch" - Definitely an ambient tone. Sounds pretty nice with the reverse delay in it (like he has). Again, could be greatly used for ambient parts in songs, or even soundscapes.

"Jake Lead Patch" - I was kinda disappointed in this one...It's basically his crunch tone, with a delay and reverb added to it. Aggressive and present, nonetheless.

"Jake Crunch Patch" - I actually ended up using the Line 6 "Epic" amp with this one...it had certain characteristics that just made the tone come together. Overall, it's very thrashy and aggressive...PERFECT for rhythm.

"Nolly Lead Patch" - Nolly's personal lead tone...More classic lead-sounding than Bulb (Misha's) lead tone, but with many punchy characteristics of Misha's lead tone. Less ampy-sounding overall.

Again, Look for these in the Custom Tones! Follow/Like me on Soundcloud/Facebook if you like these!
