Humming noise from output jacks (and input jacks); Toneport UX8

Hello folks,

i  tried to reamp something with the UX8 which seems to fail already at its output jacks (even the input jacks).

I allready searched on google for about two hours with no compareable result. So here goes my Problem:

No matter how i configure the chain of gear or route the signal to the outputs, the output jacks (or input jacks) add an unbearable ammount of a humming noise to the signal ( I dont have to play something through the output, connecting one of them to my amp or effect-pedal already creates the noise).

The only thing that doesn't seem to be affected by the noise is a mono headphone which came with an old metronome and which i plugged in the outputs for the purpose of testing.

I even tried connecting the toneport-input to the amp-input -> same result: horrible noise comes from the amp.

So naturally i would go with a grounding issue; but i belive i rouled that out by adding the ground connector of my pc to the jacks / to the case -> no change.

I also assume the cables to be fine since i never had any problem with them and tried 3 diffrent cables.

Chain of Gear:

Toneport-output -> Amp-input  >>>[UNBEARABLE NOISE]>>>    (-> sm57 ->toneport-XLRinput)

OR

Toneport_output ->podhd500_4cable-method -> Amp >>>[UNBEARABLE NOISE]>>>    (-> sm57 ->toneport-XLRinput)

What could it be? And how can i resolve it?

Greetings and thanks upfront,

Tobislaf
