problem with pod xt live as sound card

Hi everybody, I hope I have posted in the right area of the forum.
For a couple of years my pod xt live worked fine. Unfortunately now it works only as a guitar effect, but when I try to hear what I've recorded (with any software, I use cakewalk or audiacity) all the sounds are really horrible (like over distorted)ì
I noticed that it distorts the same way everytime I use the Pod as sound card (so when I use it in playback to hear what I played, obviously, the result is horrible).
The big problem I have is that since I can not use it as a sound card I can not hear sound while the soundtracks, but only my guitar .... ![]()
please, help me ... ![]()
technical data:
- Windows xp
- Pod xt live + usb cable to pc + software + Gearbox + cakewalk / audiacity
- Updated drivers by slim drivers software
Thanks to all
Check the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel and make sure you are not re-amping playback.
Thank you very much for your reply.
In "inputs & recordings" the setting is "send processed guitar".
Has it been set properly in your opinion? ![]()
P.S.
in "device manager", when i see the properties of "audio controller" --> "Line 6 pod xt live" it is written: "Status: Driver enabled but it doesn't work properly" (I am translating in english)
