I have heard good things about the Behringer in general (you can even hack the firmware with custom functionality if you felt the need) and the price is good.  However, I don't remember hearing many people talk about their use in this forum.  Hopefully this is cause they are so reliable that nobody needs to but then who knows .  If I had my time again, I would probably go with an HD Pro and a Behringer (split the brain from the oft abused switching) but I too would be interested in hearing experiences.

Go to guitarcenter.com and search the used gear for the shortboard or the mkII.  I have seen both for $100 and the shipping is usually reasonable.  You have to order by phone by calling the store that has the used ones listed.  I purchased a shortboard for about $50 a few years ago and have seen a few MkII's for around $80.
