Oh and I should mention that I have a Hotone Ampero+ Footswitch connected and set for Preset bank switching (FS 1 > Prev and FS2 > Next) However, I have tried disconnecting the unit and it has still happened.

Nope. Basically I am using the HX Stomp setup with the following blocks: 1. Retro Reel for mild saturation (Always on and no FS assigned) 2. FX Send and Return Block (Always on and no FS assigned) this allows me to have 2 dirt pedals in the loop and blend them with the clean. I use the individual FS's on these dirt boxes. 3. Phaser (Assigned to FS2 and only used for 2 songs) 4. Chorus (Assigned to FS3 and only used for 3 songs) 5. Regal DI (Always On and no FS assigned) The issue I am having frequently occurs mid set / mid song and during songs where I haven't used any of the HX's FS's.

So last week I went through ALL settings to ensure that I hadn't inadvertently set anything that could be causing this. I found nothing that would be casuing the described behavior. This past weekend I played 2 gigs and sure enough, same issues. Halfway through one set I looked down and saw that the presets menu was up on screen waiting for me to select one. A different time I looked down and saw that my presets had changed from Preset 001 to 002. The unit is not in a place where someone (band member or otherwise) could have come in contact with it. At this point I am thinking that possibly vibration from the house subs may be causing this??

gpicard5 started following Helix LT operating temps , HX Stomp Randomly switching Presets? , Stomp XL Mode and Tap FS's and 2 others

So I've been using the HX Stomp in my Bass Rig for about a few months. I have the latest firmware loaded and it has worked great. However, the last 2 gigs I've had this issue where I'm playing and then randomly I notice that I'm on a completely different preset. For context: 1. I'm in Stomp Mode and have the 3 FS's set to control different effects. 2. I know I didn't accidentally hit and FS's because 99% of the time I am not switching effects on/off. The only really common thing to the gigs where it happened was that I was relatively close to the subon my side (about 5' away) and the gigs were in daylight outside. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas on why it happened? How to fix it?

That's what I assumed. It's really too bad because if you don't care about the Tap/Bypass function or the Mode function you basically are stuck with 2 useless buttons taking up real estate. Kinda weird that you have the choice of 3 buttons on the Stomp or , 6 (out of 8) on the XL. It actually seems even dumber that you can add 2 extra FS's but have to use an external footswitch to do so. Oh Well. I actually have seen that video. I'm prob an edge case user as I am a bassist and I am using the Stomp XL for ampless playing on stage. I have an always on Compressor, then 3 dirt settings assigned to FS's 4, 5 ,6, a Sub Octave assigned to FS1, a chorus assigned to FS2 and then 2 preamp blocks which are both assigned to FS3 (When one turns on the other turns off). I have NO need for Tap Tempo or "All Bypass" so that button is useless. I don't switch between banks so the "Mode" button is useless as well. Basically I need at least 6 FS's so the Stomp even with an external FS only got me 5.

FS7 and FS8 are external FS assignments. In the Command Center the Mode and Tap buttons are greyed out.

I'm new to the HX Stomp XL and I've done some internet searching as well as on the forums here but can't seem to find anything on whether or not the "TAP" and"MODE" FS's on the XL can be assigned to anything other than Mode and Tap to "Bypass All"? Thx and sorry if there already something addressing this.

Good Morning. So I am using the HX Stomp and Live I am switching between the Regal DI and the Mandarin as the last block in my signal path. One of the 2 will always be on so I setup FS3 so that in one state the Regal is active and then when the FS is pressed the Regal shuts off and the Mandarin becomes active. However, when doing this, When I switch to the Mandarin even though it is active and the Regal is not, The screen stays on the Regal and the LED stays yellow and dims. Ideally, I'd like the screen to display whichever block is active or at a minimum I'd like the LED to be brightly lit either Yellow when the Regal is active or Red when the Mandarin is active. Is this possible?

I'm using the HX Stomp and I have the Darkglass Microtubes Infinity set up in the Effects Loop for all of my drive needs. Basically I am using the Stomp for Chorus, Octaving and Poly Capo. I am not a fan of the drives in the Stomp and LOVE the DG MI. So I have a signal flow setup in the HX Stomp that looks like this: EQ - Poly Capo - Octave - FX Loop (DG) - Chorus I leave the EQ block always on and the FX Loop block always on. I have the Chorus, Octave and Poly Capo set to the 3 switches on the Stomp. In this setup, the Darkglass in just permanently in my signal chain and I use the 3 switches on it to switch drives. I use the HX switches to turn on and off my modulation effects. It works like a charm! I should note that I am playing Spector Euro 4's and run them into a Shure GLXD16+ Wireless receiver on my board. The output of the HX Stomp goes straight into a Mesa Subway D800+ Head. I am NOT using any amp or cabinet modelling.

Given the number of Bassists that are using Helix it would be great to see some VERY common things added: SansAmp BASS DI V2 (Adding Mids to the existing BDDI). Sans Amp Para Driver (Also used by a LOT of Guitarists) Darkglass Vintage Microtubes Darkglass B3K Jam Pedals Waterfall Bass Chorus

Good morning. I've been using a G70 Relay for a couple of years now. I use 2 different transmitters as I have 2 basses at all gigs. Each gig I do the frequency scan and utilize the channel that is identified. Recently I started getting this high pitched subtle whirring sound through my bass rig. Basically sounded a lot like when you have high freq hum on Jazz pickups. At first I thought it was power at the venue but then it started happening at all venues and the practice space. Then I thought it was the bass I was using, but I would get it on both Jazz basses. (And then also with my Spectors) I then thought it was my amp which was an Ashdown ABM600 but it is also there with my Orange Terror Bass 500. I plugged directly into my rig with a cable and it was gone. I then took all pedals out of my chain except the Line 6 and it was back which tells me that it has to do with the G70. It happens with both transmitters. All software is up to date. Anyone experience this? Any ideas? The G70 and Xmitters are only about 3 years old and they are in great shape.

Recently got the Helix LT and I love it on bass. It just dawned on me however that I play a lot of outside gigs here in MD. I've had my iPad and other devices shutdown due to heat in the past. What is the high end operating temp for the LT?

There is a gain setting in the unit which is most likely set really high as opposed to unity of 0db

Have the receiver on a pedalboard with at least 3" of separation on all sides. Use 2 transmitters both in neotech pouches on straps. Dropouts happen in multiple venues with both transmitters which makes me suspect the receiver is the issue.
