  1. Hello, try this I am assuming that the fender has an FX loop. If so then the four cable method may resolve the issue. Good luck.
  2. Yeah, I used DT Edit to setup channel 2. That way I can have some nice tones just by directly plugging in. I like being able to reallyy customize the reverb too bad that can't be done with out midi. I also setup the reverb on channel 1 so I can save on DSP.
  3. OMG what a huge difference. I know I saw a thread about this earlier but I had not done the 2.20 patch until recently. I now have my DT25 master cranked to about 2 - 3 oclock and, using the master on the HD500, I can really get some nice organic tones without breaking windows. This amp and board combo really is amazing. I wonder what would have happened if line 6 would have done this in the beginning. Its like its a sleeper now and with the new stuff coming people may never know what this setup can really do. Just my thoughts.
  4. Thanks to you both for the fast response. I am starting to get more into creating more patches for the HD500 + DT25 vs HD500 + PA. Thanks again, Dan
  5. Hello all, quick question. HD500 L6 Linked to the DT25 1x12. My question is which amp controls take precedence, the HD500 or the DT25? Example: If the DT25 gain control is set at 12 o'clock but the gain for the amp on the HD500 is set for 10 o'clock which is the true gain setting? Thanks! Dan
  6. I am glad it worked for you. Here is my take on Shine on you crazy diamon, using that patch. http://www.reverbnation.com/dannyschultz/song/17636000-crazy-diamond
  7. Hello, I made a patch to copy David Gilmour's Sound on Sound. Here is the link on customtone. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/222341 Please read the description as it tells you how to operate the foot pedal. You may have to extend the delay but it should work. Good luck, -Dan
  8. Thanks for the reply. It is already set for stomp. The noise is heard even if you run a cable from the send to the return, nothing else in line.
  9. Would someone try this on their HD500? Place the fx loop before the amp run a cable send to return and see if you hear anythin.
  10. I have ecountered this problem recently. I found that if I play the FX loop before the AMP I get the hissing sound, even if I patch the fx loop. If I move the fx loop after the mixer, I get no noise. The interesting thing is that if I put noise gate after the fx loop I get no noise. I have even set the amps to zero. Any thoughts.
  11. I fixed it. It was already registered. I rolled back the firmware to 1.00 then re-flashed to 2.00 and it took. I think it was the M-Audio drivers that fixed it. Thanks for the replies. -Dan
  12. I download the m-audio uno drivers and the firmware loaded further than before but got this message (see attached) not I get no sound from the unit and the switches no longer respond. I load monkey and it thinks its been updated to 2.0. Any thoughts now? BTW: I downloaded the DT edit program and know that the cable was connected correctly becuase I could change parementers on the screen and watch the amp change. Thanks,
  13. Trying to update my DT25 from 1.0 to 2.0. I am using the M-Audio USB to Midi. I connect it up (Windows 7). Monkey sees the DT25 except it does not dettect a ESN. Not sure if that is a problem. So I downloaad the firmware file and load it up. It does some stuff then stops with an error msg. I have attached the screen shots. Any suggestions? Thanks, -Dan
  14. Hello, I am seriously considering purchasing a JTV69s. My concern is that I just recently tried out a JTV69 (not s) and when I did a simple D chord the high E slid off the neck. I read some topics on the forum about the issue and it seems the a new nut would help the problem. My question is this: Is this still a problem with the JTV69s? Has anyone had this problem on the 69s? Will line 6 cover this issue as warranty? There are a few guitar centers in my area but none have the 69s which mean I have to order it. I do not want to be in the position of ordering sending back and repeating. Any suggestions or help would be great. Thanks! drs
