Sorry, but it's some misunderstanding)) I'm sure it's not possible to obtain when and where the next breakage happens. Just I'm talking about the local distributor decency promising the new device is really new and not from those that are considered lost somewhere in warehouse since 2017... That is a question of this topic. I just supposed there is some connection regarding the manufacture date and version of the firmware installed. Just nothing else))

The problem is that the returned device was bought in November 2017 and out of warranty. Frankly saying I was really impressed with the loyalty level addressed to a regular end-user whose device is in use for more than 3 years. Really thanks to the Line 6 support team that agreed to change the 3 yo device for a new one without any penny from my pocket. At the same time I was paralysed for about 45 days with the broken device and ruined plans. But I'd rather prefer to be sure that the new device was really from the latest batches than expect any troubles being on tour in a couple of weeks.

Thank you. The problem is the new device was given to me according the Line 6 service procedure. The expression pedal of my Helix LT bought in 2017 was broken after two weeks of hard use. That was considered as the factory defect and my local distributor just replaced the device with a new one. Just finding the 2.30 firmware from 2017 in a device shipped in summer 2020 brought some doubts... Will it be a device from the defective product batch again??? Will I come with the same problem in two weeks again???

Hello guys My local distributor claims the Helix LT was shipped in 2020 but it was found that 2.30 firmware is installed. Please, share information about which version of the firmware was installed at the time of purchase. How to update such device to the latest 2.92 version? Are there some recommendations for the process or not?

Thanks! I did but they addressed me to the local distributor since I'm in Ukraine. That's not a problem for me but I'd like to now how solid is the new chassis to avoid the same problem in the future. Apart of that there is another problem... tweaking the pedal to its limits up and down doesn't change the regulated parameter to its lowest or highest value as it should be(((

Hello to Everybody! Unfortunately I'm another one who faced with the well known problem of Helix LT pedal solidity. Now it's broken as well (( The question is addressed to those who have also faced with the the same issue and fixed that. Did Line 6 improve the pedal assembly for the last time or it stays flimsy still? That's just to know If I should expect any happiness with a new spare parts they use in an authorized service center.

foxmister, thanks. I'm aware about this link. Just, I meant the Legacy models that were initialy developed for other Line 6 devices. All these models are in a separate directory called "Legacy" in the Helix.

Guys, how many factory presets should be in an updated device? Is there something new comparing to 2.71? The same question regarding the templates... May be somewhere is an official info with the artists?

For rd2rk, Thanks for the comments. I checked the output level of the XLR after assigning the volume control knob to only 1/4" outputs only. I made sure that output level is the same as when you set the volume knob to maximum when it's assigned to control the XLR outputs. So, my doubts disappeared))

Then something strange happens when I use the Blue Comp in the chain, which is BOSS CS-1 in real life. I'm trying to achieve the same volume level of the chain as when it is turned on, as when it is turned off. This is achieved only when I set the value of the parameter Level of this effect to 23. But in this case, when it is turned on, the effect becomes lost completely even the Sustain level is at maximum. Please, advise what is wrong.

Before buying Helix LT, I have used a regular pedal board. I always adjusted the volume level between the stomp boxes so that turning on/off any of them did not affect the significant change in the overall volume of the channel. In connection with this, there are several questions ... 1. Is it possible to use the same approach for Helix LT by changing the Level parameter of the built-in stomp boxes? 2. At the end of the signal flow chain (the arrow at the output) it is also possible to adjust the Level in dB. Does this parameter have the same effect on the channel volume as the Ch Vol parameter in the AMPs settings?

I'd agree with brue58ski since in my older X3 Live manual it was mentioned to keep the master volume knob on the device body always at max level while playing in Line via the XLRs. But in the Helix LT manual is nothing about that. That's why I am tormented by doubts to apply this rule for the Helix LT as well. May be some guys from Line 6 could put a light on this question?

Just some other fantasies came into my head... Then why do they even put this regulator if you can adjust the channel volume through the settings of an emulated amplifier? After all, you can certainly in the internal circuit of the device provide an option when it will always produce the best signal-to-noise ratio, and adjust the Channel Volume in the settings of the built-in emulated amplifiers. In this case, the physical volume control knob on the device body will be superfluous and the production expenses would be cheaper???)))

Hello! I plug my Helix LT directly to a mixer via the XLR main outputs. I use AMPs simulation built in the device (not a stand alone AMP). The task is to achieve the best quality signal at the stand-alone mixer input stage. There are two way to control volume using either or both of the onboard Volume regulator and Channel Volume for a built-in AMP simulation. Please, how to achieve the better signal/noise ratio for the output signal? Should I be focused to adjust more output using the onboard Volume regulator instead of Channel Volume for a built-in AMP simulation or vice versa? Thanks.

Do you have some recommendations in order to install GearBox and last driver for X3 Live to make it work correctly with Windows 10? What driver version and step-by-step, please? I have just already updated my PC for Win 10 and I'm trying to find some working solution. Thanks in advance!
