Was struggling with Mesa TC100 / Helix 4cm until last night. It required the use of two loops on the Helix: one set to Instrument level to Send to the input of the TC100 and one set to Line level to Return from the TC100 Effects Loop Send. Also, the 1/4 output on the Helix needed to be set to Line level to connect to the TC100 Effects Return. BINGO! Also, the little rotary switch on the back of the TC100 for selecting MIDI channel is one number off...to set the TC100 to MIDI channel 2, set the rotary switch to 1 (duh!!)

I would think the single output to FOH would be from FH 1500. The latest firmware allows you to send monitor in to main out so when you want a Helix preset you would pair that up with a blank FH preset. Then when you want a FH preset, you would program a Helix footswitch to turn off the Helix output a send a MIDI program change to the FH. I haven't tried this but I think in theory it would work.

I just got an FH 1500 and running Helix line level 1/4 outs to FH monitor ins (Helix XLR outs go to FOH). I keep one ear of the IEMs in to hear the rest of the band and one ear bud out to hear the FH and stage sound. I like it but want to try w/d/w. Is it as simple as building off the Helix template preset with a blank patch on the FH? (adding Helix Send 1 to FH guitar in)

Just received my Helix rack/control and I'm getting some great tones pretty quick running 4 cable mode with Mesa Mark V. I see posts saying that a footswitch can do up to 8 functions but I'm having trouble getting started with this. Is there anything on this forum (or anywhere else) that provides step by step instructions. I assume this is something you do in the command center but just not getting it. Thanks in advance!
