For me it works fine and reliable using WLAN, as far as I recall I have tried with USB first but for some reason I changed to WLAN. Maybe I have experienced issues with USB but I cant't remember. BTW: Helix (PC-APP) expects WAV format, other formats are not accepted.

I have observed that the treble setting of the ANGL amplifier is randomly set to 0.2. Side Note: I was using multiple snapshots Vocal-Chorus-Solo with individual settings for all amplifier parameters. Regardless which snapshot I have used, the treble turned to 0.2 after a while. A while means at any random delay even while using the rotary to set the value manually. Delay time spans across a very low value (immediate) up to a few seconds. Notes: No connection to external midi or computer apps. Rebooting didn't solve Latest firmware installed Helix was dialed in WLAN

My observation is that my Helix Stadium XL is injecting false audio-data while playing backing tracks. What means "false-audio"? -> Imagine a digital player which brings a 16 Bit audio stream to an analog digital converter. My guess is that sometimes instead sending the correct value something different is sent to the AD-Converter. At least it sounds like this. Occurance: Recognized several times during rehearsal. Behavior observations: From the start: Everything fine A few days later: It went worse, this clipping noise occured in several playback songs. I cannot remember that I made a change in between. Rebooting doesn't solve the problem. At some day: It was OK again (for those songs I have checked, which was not all songs). Changes in between -> I have uploaded one new song. This lowers my confidence for live gigging to zero. A few days later: After removing the SD-Card and evaluating the content (wav Files) on a PC, I was able to recognize the same clipping issues there. The files seem to be corrupted already on the SD-Card, it is not a "Player-Issue". Even if the SD-Card, which is a Sandisk premium 512 GB, is defective for some reason, I would recommend LINE6 implementing an ECC mechanism and a visual "Corrupt-Flag" to ensure that the next GIG would not be messed up anyhow and give the user a note to replace/correct the SD-Card.

Dears, just to give my frustration about this digital link issues to this thread. - Stagescape with digital Link -> 3 Gigs done, two times a disaster. The link was interrupted several times in 2 gigs. (Yes I have used special super duper 110 Ohm Cables) At the and I have changed to Behringer X32 with analog to Stagesource. No problem till 8 Years. - Variax with digital Link -> Same lollipop, frequently the Helix is not transporting the guitar information to the Variax. This makes a real WOW-Effect on gigs. Beside that, this is a known Bug (Yes, I am using always the latest Updates) - Powercab with AES -> Same lollipop, the powercab frequently is getting the wrong data for adjustments. This makes the ears banging, today I have got 125 dB my ears are ringing. (Yes I have used a special super duper 110 Ohm cable) Beside that, I have seen some postings about the same behavior in different portals. My personal opinion: Line6 is serving us with cool stuff, great ideas yes I love it. But this digital transfer lollipop is always a mess when it comes from Line6. No, I will not change my gear, I will stay with Line6, but I am still frustrated to see, that they develop new things instead of making their portfolio compatible and RELIABLE. Just have a look at the date stamp of the lates SW-Updates for Variax, Powercab & Stagesource, this will tell the same story. Greetings, Mike
