Hey all, is it something Ive done wrong, or are the deeper edit functions(bias, sag) not in the app ?

I have tried a few different solutions for a power amp for my hx and im finally happy with the cat 200 BUT : The speakers are kind of badly tuned. you need additional eq via the hx and then it sounds great. Or, you can use it standalone (sort of) with that EQ through the fx loop, and the hx just as effects and as a midi controller and it also sounds excellent. I use it normal loop in with the verb on the amp, saving blocks on amps, cabs, and verb or even delays if i use it this way. I havent really decided which i like more, apart from the amps in the hx that the cat doesn't have . there are so many ways to skin a cat these days.

I'm just doing this at the mo, and the RC300 is making the hx sound like a bag of snot. muffled and with some weird kind of chorus effect. (the loop fx are off) if this is what it does, its going in the bin.

Hey all, I'm having an issue with the tuner on my cat 200. If inturn it in. It mutes (as it should) but when inturn it off again, it doesn't unmute. Has anyone else had this and managed to resolve it?

Hey everyone, just a quick question, and some of you might laugh but anyway: Does anyone know if there are any plans for a 2,01 editor for pre windows 10 operating systems?

Have you tried swearing at it? that sometimes helps

Not to be argumentative, but gaslighting is not a modern, new term. It came from an OOOOLD film called fanny by gaslight where this guy made his wife think she was going insane for a bunch of reasons.Meanings can extend beyond our lifetimes and generations.

Update Aaah, sorted. The editor is not available for any pre windows 10 OS. that's a shame.

After looking, no the editor did not update. Im not finding any update for it anywhere either. I must be missing something..

Heya, yeah Multi effects.. sorted. Did factory reset, yeah. No joy with editor. Yes, every instance I've seen so far (and there haven't been many) show the amp bank below the amp knob.. I'll check the 1.02, but have not found any update for the editor in any case. Will keep soldiering on, thanks for your reply :-)

The update sound fantastic ! I'm having *some* issues though.. there doesn't seem to be a way of changing amp banks on the editor.. everything i,ve seen has a bank button below the amp voicing knob, which I don't have (have tried to update editor but its just the same) and cant find a way of putting two effects on at once. Do you have to dedicate the reverb assignment to another effect? other than that, super happy with it. Well done Line6, thanks for doing the right thing by your loyal catalyst users !

Hi all, I picked up a cat 200 last week and felt very pleased with myself.. until I got it home and turned it on. To be fair, it's a beautiful clean and mid gain amp but after that, it's a harsh rattly mess. Treble and presence can't dial out the fizz unless you want to sound like the tone on your guitar is rolled off. As a poweramp, it's grunty but again very harsh. They must be really cheap and nasty speakers. Funny thing is, most people say it's quite a dark amp. Does anyone else have this treble problem?

My experience after a week has been very disappointing. It's a beautiful clean and mid gain amp but higher gain has this horrible high fizz to it that treble and presence don't dial out. I've ended up using my hx in the loop with the eq as an aggressive hi cut at 16k, 8k and a bit at 4 (or 6, can't remember off the top of my head.. using the 10 band eq) It's powerful as a poweramp but sounds awful using IRs in the hx, and again too harsh without them. I'm almost ready to give up on modelling and just get a marshall or something. Very disheartened.

This may be a bit late, but helpful for someone trawling for info. Ive had a headrush 112 for just over a year and i absolutely hate it. This will probably elicit comments about not knowing how to eq, lifting off the floor, etc etc. Believe me, i know what im doing and its just too trebly and tubby. I doubted my ears until i ran my hx through a set of good studio speakers and the difference was beyond night and day. Thinking about a powercab for live situations, and dont need the headrush for studio although to be fair it sounds great for playback.

I just had this happen tonight. All my presets are gone since my last backup. Obviously oim on 3.15. So i have to factory reset and download all those updates again!? And just as importantly, what caused it?
