  1. It is from July 2014. I will try it. Thank you!
  2. What to do if you have it only sometimes? Mostly all is fine, but sometimes the stage-screen appears and the last setup is not loading. All harware is frozen in this moment. The only thing left to do is a restart and hope. Mostly it works after a second or a third restart, but I have a anxious Feeling. Can I do something?
  3. Thank you for that advice. I checked all - but never got a stereo fx.
  4. In this case you get stereo for stereo sources. But as far as I can hear, the internal effects remains mono and I could'nt find panning for mono sources. I need epecially stereo effects to enhance mono sources for in ear monitors.
  5. Yes, that's what I say. Either a midi input for calling a scene directly with pedal (for instance from 3 to 28 and then 14) or like you say with the iPad. Step forward with a simple pedal is quite unrealistic because you have to have a fixed setlist. A further suggestion: A display for the current called scene is needed, expecially because I noticed, the pedal switch is not save.
  6. For In Ear Monitoring I would like use the Monitor Outs and the symbol "Stereo Monitor" seems to be invented precisely for this purpose and especially suitable for a convenient use. A stereo source like the media player is promptly sounding stereo in the headphone. But how to get a pan for mono sources and even more important: how to get stereo Effects for mono sources? Is there a trick? The phones out works like the main outs and that sounds great. I thought a stereo monitor provides stereo fx at least. I fumbled with two mono monitors as well ... but mono is mono (?) Is real stereo monitoring possible?
  7. Iknowathingortwo: i did it already. That makes the connection of the m20d and the iPad even better. But I care for the G55. A distance seems to be the only possible precaution.
  8. The Apple Airport Express connects the m20d with the IPad very well. After tweaking a lot on the configuration tool I tried to force the router and the iPad to connect with 5 GHz and i figured out that the latest models of Airport Express are not able to switch off the 2,4 GHz transmission, they always transmits on both frequencies. The Line6 G55 is sensitive to a close position of the router. So I take the router out of the open rack (it is really only a skeleton). But additionally I would like switch of the 2,4 GHz to free the air from that unused second separate 2,4 GHz Wlan. Is there a recommendation for a specific approach to use both - remote the m20d and wireless mics with the newer Airport Express models?
  9. Thank you. That question is not answered, but it is not a big issue. It was a amassment of mistakes and should not happen again. 1. I will no longer operate with 26 Scenes. So i could change the situation quickly with only 3 or 4 scenes. 2. I will not save accidentally a messed channel. 3. I will switch off the FBS during Sound check experiments.
  10. Sorry for my bad english. The only thing i wanted to say is, that all visible settings are the same, before and after. Also the metering. I use mixers (also digital) almost daily for 20 years. I know headroom - and feedback issues, also with monitors. Originally I had a resonance and one usual method to find a resonance is to sweep the frequency with positiv eq qurve, not negative. That feedback was my intention. I forgot to turn off the FBS on all open mics in this moment, so that was my mistake. I found the resonance somewhat roughly, could decrease that range but now I have a messed channel and accidentally I saved that setup. The m20d is new for me and the buttons "save" and "load" are damn close together :D . That is not so bad, I would just like to understand. If really is a feedback on stage and i get a messed (strongly reduced) channel right in the gig, it is not fixed by increasing the gain back. 1. That would not be possible because both "knobs" (trim and gain) are optimal - (not 100% ... maybe 75%), both before and after the operation of the FBS. Please don't say, i could increase it from 75% to 100% because: The level after the trim is optimal (if i would increase the trim i would get an internal distortion). The level after the gain is optimal (green and a little bit yellow) (also i would get internal distortions). Nevertheless the audible level of that channel is significantly lower after the feedback. 2. If simple increasing of the channel would be possible, i had to do it for all 26 scenes seperatly. I am musician, I cannot do that during gig.
  11. Oh ... thank you for the look at my setup! The two setups to compare are duo1 and duo2. (balla is a completely different band ) I did not know that all setups are stored. Sorry for that confusion! Today I created the duo2 new and so far everything is ok. Your Information is helpful. But the best help would be, you comprehend the described situation in my duo1 and duo2 and have an explaination. duo2 is a copy of duo1 with the same trim setting and at least all "moduwe" scenes should also have the same gain fader settings and all eq/compressors etc. are the same. but in duo1 it is loud, in duo2 it is soft while the meter is showing loud.
  12. Since today it is not possible to switch scenes with pedal. FX mutes or the Media Player can be switched but not scenes. In the last days I noticed sometimes mistakes in the scene sequenz. Mostly the pedal switched from one to another, but sometimes it got stuck. Today I tried 3 several pedals and several cables, both inputs and several functions. I tried also to start a change from different ponts of the scene sequence. Only the scenes have a problem. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13754833/scene_change.flv For this reason i have also a update request: It would be very helpful to see the current loaded scene in the perform window. Sometimes there are only certain settings in the backround and you cannot see it on the main perform window. Another wish: could you add a sorting function for scenes like move up and move down?
  13. No, i don't think so. I think there is a intelligent automatic control, and I cannot recognize and cannot reset it.
  14. Yes of course. I checked it already. But I did nothing and suddenly (after the feedback) all settings remained unchanged, but the volume of mic 1 ist much lower - in all scenes of setup 2. If I compare, I cannot find any differences on EQ, Compressor etc. FBS reset has no effect. Tomorrow I will create all scenes new by saving the first setup as setup 2 and changing the scenes and only hope, that this not happened again.
  15. Ouch - unfortunately i saved it. The FBS reset doesn't work.
  16. Here both setups: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13754833/Klingenthal1.bin https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13754833/Klingenthal2.com channel 1 of the first setup is much stronger, but all visible faders have the same positions comparing setup 1 and 2.
  17. Thank you for that very fast replay! Assuming that the feedback problem is solved by reducing the master gain. Where can I see what the FBS did and how to get the old setting back? My trim and gain faders of that channel are in the same position and the meter indicates optimal Level, but i hear almost nothing of this mic. That means, all scenes of that setup are in wrong relations because the FBS changed that channel. What to do?
  18. Hi again, usually the FBS reduce the gain (?) of the channel if you produce a feedback and after that all is like before. (?) Today i had a bad feedback and the FBS was not able to kill it. But that is not the problem. My problem is a complete changed channel - a drastic reduced volume without being able to see it on the Settings. I checked the red trim ... it looks like before, the meter is moving around 100%, the setting is the same. Ã checked the green gain ... it looks like before, the meter is around 100%, the setting is the same. But i hear only 25% of the volume. All other channels are ok. My question, is there a place where i can check, what the FBS did? It is important to understand it, because i wrote 60 scenes, and i would have to change all 60 scenes if i cannot find the general setting.
  19. dboomer - Yesss! My cable was not ok. There was no new Trial required, instant Connection! Yeeee :D Thank you both!!
  20. Thank you both again! That is exactly what I did before - without success. Today I tried it again and you can check here https://vimeo.com/102019566 what I did with your step by step list - without success. Sorry for my disability.
  21. No, the LAN Socket is connected. I am wondering, why the name of the automatically suggested network is not "Stagescape M20d". I thought the Airport Express is recognizing the Mixer via the USB to WIFI Adaptor as a "network master" that rules all settings.
  22. Hello again, it is a little bit embarrassing for me ... it should be simple, but it isn't. I finally received the Airport Express and connect it with a LAN cable to the USB to WIFI Adapter. (both devices are highly recommended) The WIFI Adapter is inserted on the socket. After switching on the Airport Express I get a selection in my IPad ... and I should setup the Airport Express. I followed all the steps as described on http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/live-sound/stagescape-m20d-mixer/wifi-connectivity-sd-card-compatibility-r112# (Pictures for IPad) On the end of the action I have a confirmation of a new network. The standard name of it is "myname's Network" and I have to create a password, which consists of more than 8 characters Ok. I think that is all right. But the amber light is flashing yet and the Remote App does not find a Stagescape. I resetted the Airport three times and tried different network names ... for instance "Stagescape M20d" - of course that does not help. Can you recognize my mistake?
  23. Ok, thank you both. I just ordered the Airport Express, i don't want trouble on stage - athough i do not like this chain of devices. Maybe i buy a Belkin N-600 later.
  24. Hello, sorry for my newbie question... Here you can see only a simple stick and the Ipad. No additional Hardware required: In that List you can read, that the Apple USB to Ethernet Adapter is highliy recommended, but i missed out the hint to the required WLAN Router. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/live-sound/stagescape-m20d-mixer/wifi-connectivity-sd-card-compatibility-r112 I bought that USB to Ethernet Adapter for 29 Euro and of course my IPad don't see the Mixer. Is it right, that you will need 2 devices wobbly hanging on the mixer? I do not want to buy unnecessary gear and i cannot imagine that 2 devices is the idea. I thougt (as seen in the video) you need only a wifi stick and the IPad ...
