is it possible to record inputs at a level and NOT have them come out of the PA at that level? For example, I have four horns, drums, acoustic guitar and two vocals. Can I record the whole set up but only put the vocals and guitar through the PA? On a traditional board, you would bus them together and send them to the recorder and then turn them down in the main output but I can't find a way to do that on this board. Any suggestions?

I have the latest software and recorded two sets last night. The first one recorded fine but the second was entirely blank...each file had a mb value but no sound. In between sets I stopped the recording and then pressed record again at the start of the second set. The second set was automatically placed in its own folder but no sound.

I would love to know if there is an second version of this mixer being planned...something that is expandable. Great mixer, just too small for my needs.

Is anyone out there going this route? If so, what is your set up? I have seen some folks say that they are considering getting an analog mixer for the sub...but whatever effects you add to that via the m20d would effect every channel on the sub mixer...so that is kind of a bummer. Anyone have any other solutions for using this product when you need more than the 12 xlr inputs?

can you join together two m20d's together for 24 xlr inputs?
