I have a power strip that powers my mixer, amp, etc... Since the amplifi amps (and TT) use basically a computer on board... is it safe to power the amp/TT from outside the amp (from a power strip)? I do't want to damage this thing :)

I am having one hell of a time today also. Never has worked well since i bought it. (just updated the firmware last week so i know it's updated). Mine does the same... connects fine via airplay, my phone says connected, amplifi app says "device not connected"... so, you have an app that lies
