  1. Smashcraaft's post in How to compensate for volume change when effect switched on? was marked as the answer
If you activate two effect-blocks and assign them both to the same switch both will be deactivated (when you save the patch in this state) when you use the footswitch and vice versa.
If one of those two blocks is active and the other inactive they will switch their individual state.
  2. Smashcraaft's post in Recording Variax 600 leads to a gap and an overlap in lenght was marked as the answer
The gap appeared again but I was able to fix the problem. After choosing a patch with a lot of fx-blocks I had to switch the ASIO-device to "None" on my Mac, running Cubase 8 (and then switch back again to the HD500x ASIO) to get rid of the recording-delay. Seems to be an ASIO/USB issue.

  3. Smashcraaft's post in HD500x into l3m.. question on stage volume was marked as the answer
I go direct XLR out to the soundboard and 1/4" out to the monitor, too. Of cause, I had normalized the volume on all of my patches to be a consistent volume output and crank my master to max if playing at rehearsal or stage.

Also I put my Yamaha DBR12 monitor to a high output-level, which offers some headroom for minor adjustments while playing a gig.
To do this, I have a passive volume-pedal between my 1/4" and my monitor, which I calibrate within the soundcheck to a volume that fits into the overall sound. Works pretty nice and you can adjust just your own volume very quickly and at your own will.
  4. Smashcraaft's post in Flash Memory unknown - update stops with code 80007104 was marked as the answer
Thank you all. I fixed the problem using another USB-port on my iMac (used the first one now). There seems to be differences on different ports (maybe in power-supply).

And please excuse my poor english  ;)
