  1. Thanks so much for the detailed reply Dennis. It's the same setlist I always use and have added maybe 8 or 9 new patches since I last backed it up. I'll give the reset a try when I'm back at the helix tomorrow. :)
  2. Sorry to dig up an old thread but I have just encountered this problem when trying to back up a setlist and was searching to see if there were any solutions posted here. Any ideas why this might be happening? Ideally I don't want to have to save each individual patch 1 by 1... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Thanks mate, I'll give this a try when I'm back at the helix later
  4. Annoyingly I actually don't know. Rookie mistake... I imported a bunch of them in all at the same time but the file names are quite long and didn't realise helix chopped off the ends so I don't know which is which! All I know is the ones I imported are mostly using the 121 mic (and possibly the 414). When I have time I'm going to try importing a bunch more and see if I can figure out the ones I'm using.
  5. Would anyone be kind enough to share some dual cab settings that are giving good results? I've really struggled so far to dial in anything that doesn't sound a bit thin and digital. I downloaded the free Redwirez Marshall IR pack and it sounds absolutely amazing. Really brought the helix to life for me.
  6. The one I meant was 'dumblesque 2' by bzoni, but I see there is another version by mrcdboston that I'll definitely try out later.
  7. The Dumblesque patch is hands down the best one I've downloaded so far. Really dynamic and responds well to picking dynamics and volume/tone control adjustments. On a side note, I think it would be great if Line 6 could add a comments section to each of the patch pages to give more accurate reviews or feedback rather than the simple star ratings than can be a little misleading sometimes.
  8. Just to throw it out there as another option for anyone with the gator case, you don't necessarily have to cut the 4 foam braces under the board to make it fit. I found it easier to take the padding out of the case lid (it's only velcro'd in) and trim that a bit. That way you can still store cables and power leads etc under the tray.
  9. Good to know, thanks mate. I decided to go for the gator g tour case in the end (which is a beast!), but may end up grabbing the novation bag too at some point if I want to travel lighter for some gigs/rehearsals
  10. Curious to know how this bag is. At a third of the price of the Line 6 and Mono bags, I'm tempted to give this one a go if it's decent
