Hey there, I play a lot of drop tunings (drop A, B and C) due to early arthritis and these tunings help me still play. Does the Line 6 POD HD500X have the ability to do drop tunings like a Digitech Drop Tuning Pitch Shifter? Any help would be appreciated

Hi All, I had this problem as well. It only started recently in the past 2 months. I am using a POD 500X directly into my PC and using Mixcraft 8.1 pro. I would get part way in and wham, BSOD. I read all the posts in this and other forums and tried many different things, to no luck....until last night. If any of you have NVIDIA graphics cards, this might be the issue. I turned off the NVIDIA GeForce Experience program that runs in the background. I am happy to say, optimistically, that I was able to play and record for over 2 hours with not one lockup or BSOD. Try this, and if it works for you, then happy dance. If not, was worth a shot for you.

Hi There, Sorry in advance if this is was posted many times or not. I have a POD HD500X and I connect via USB cable to my PC to record. When I open my DAW, I hear this tiny squeal sound, very high pitched. I tried hooking up my POD to a mixer, then to my UR12, then to PC and unhook the POD, no squeal. As soon as I plug in the POD again, I get the squeal back. I would rather plug the POD directly into my PC instead of the other route, but I am for now until I figure out the issue. I have turned off all other audio devices in windows to make sure there was no conflict. Same issue. Any suggestions?
