Having this really bad experience recording with the pod hd 500.My focusrite broke and sent it to the shop to get it fixed.Meanwhile for a basic riff part I used the pod and duhh the recording stucks in the middle for 2-3 seconds and continues again.Happened everytime I gave it a shot.Researched thoroughly about latency of this device or buffering and couldnt find a single info. If anyone can help me with this lemme know. \m/
LINE6 ASIO crashing windows 10
line-6-user posted a topic in POD HDBlue screen of death when using the HD500 and the laptop with Windows10. Mainly when using Reaper but at times also when using iTunes. Procedures: 1) switch the laptop on 2) open HD Edit 3) open Reaper 4) start to use Reaper and between 30 seconds and 10 minutes (random) it crash the operating system with a BSOD. The code is mostly different... some times is to do with BAD_POOL, but mainly it's some problem with a L6HD564.SYS (or similar, sorry I'm not near my laptop. What have I tried to do to resolve this? 1) disabled all other sound devices and cameras too. 2 used the Flight mode ON mode. 3) power management is set for high performance 4) updated ALL drivers in Device manager 5) updated the bios 6) removed the HD500 driver and downloaded and installed the current driver from Line 6 7) checked the memory and Disc drive, used defragmenter and CCcleaner for cleaning the registry. The crash has been at random sometimes everything works fine even if I use the Asio4all and with multiple sound cards. Switch everything off, the next morning try again and everything crashes. What is the problem? My laptop is 1 year old i7 with 8gb of memory And 2tb HDD. I submitted a Ticket also but any help is appreciated.
Hi there, I really would like to use the Helix USB interface within my DAW (I use Reaper on Windows 7) alongside my desktop audio interface, to which my monitors are connected. From what I found online the only way to do that is using Asio4All instead of the native ASIO drivers. Sadly, the interface I currently use does not play nicely at all with asio4all and the helix. I have Behringer UMC202HD which I bought as a pure monitoring solution and for the occasional amp DI recording. Trying to use it in conjunction with the Helix in Asio4All results in all kinds of crackling, popping, skipping, you name it, no matter what settings I choose. I'd like to know if anyone here can name suitable interfaces that work together with the Helix and Asio4All. I don't need many I/O-channels; one or two inputs, two symmetrical outputs and a headphone out (preferably with its own volume knob), and I don't really want to spend hundreds of Euros either. So, can anyone name (small) interfaces that are known to work with asio4all and the Helix? Thanks! P.S. connecting the monitors to the Helix is not an option for various reasons (cable management at my desktop and the lower XLR and 1/4" outs on the Helix not reachable [there's an isolation transformer blocking those in the pedalcase] being the major ones).
Hi guys. So I'm using asio4all on Podfarm with a realtone cable (rocksmith) It's working decently, the only problem is that everytime I load up Pod Farm, The input channel isn't remembered. I use either Input 3 or 4, anytime I try input 1 or 2 I get a horrendous screeching sound. (anyone know why that is?) I used to have it where it remembered to use Input 3, I also had it once where the asio4all realtone cable worked on input 1. Can anyone give me some advice on how to get it back to one of those ways?
Extreme Latency Issues
demenon290 posted a topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePortHi, I'm trying to use pod farm 2 with a direct connection from my guitar to my computer via a Tracklink Guitar to USB Interface USQ-110 and using ASIO4ALL for compatibility, but the latency makes it unusable. I've tried everything I can think of in order to get it down. I've tried turning the buffer rate all the way down to 64 samples and switching to Reaper, but neither worked. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Please help!
Hi guys, i'm new here, and i have a nice question.. let's start from the begin, actually i record using my pod hd500 + Scarlett 2i2 + Cubase 5 (on windows 7), i use the pod hd500 xlr out into the xlr in of my scarlett 2i2, do you think it's possible to record using the direct usb connection of the pod and the Scarlett 2i2 (which is connected to my studio monitors) to monitor everything? (usually i don't need to monitor my guitar by the audio interface cause i use the l/mono out of the pod into my amp for that, but i need to listen to the backing track!) On cubase i can do this only using the generic asio drivers but i have a very big latency, it's impossible to work in that way! I want to record using the direct usb because the signal is more clear and with high fidelity... Any ideas?? :)
