There's a couple of similar posts, it happens when the flashing tuner/tap-tempo LED is set to off in global settings /display. I'm sure L6 will fix it for us.

Following 2.8 upgrade, the mode switch (button 6) turns off snapshot 1 LED (Button 2) Anyone else noticed this?
