  1. Same thing happened to me today. My Helix is only 2 days old. Didn't have mine on for as long as yours, maybe only about 20 minutes. Screen went to a "glowing black". Had to power off and turn back on to get back to normal. Is this a "bug", or a screen defect I should be concerned with and maybe look to exchange my Helix at the store while within exchange policy?
  2. That's kind of what I was expecting them to be like, but mine are not that way (as they are on the M13 / M19, etc). I'm running the latest firmware, so I wonder why? So going from around 350ms to get up to where I'm at the end where I can get into the subdivisions will get me some carpal tunnel syndrome... It doesn't seem to change with velocity - just consistent increase as turn. Obviously, as I turn, it turns faster, but not like what I'm assuming you're referring to as on the M series. It's pretty darn annoying... (not just delay, but same with the other effects where trying to change time parameters)
  3. Thanks guys. Appreciate your responses. Anyone whose used both the "M Series" and the HD series will know rhe difference in the speed I'm referring to. Appreciate the feedback....
  4. Thanks for the reply. Are referring to the editing while connected to a computer, using the editing software? I'm not seeing what you're referring to on the HD 500x itself. I'm looking to edit directly from the physical unit, while at a rehearsal with no computer connected. If I misunderstood, my apologies.
  5. Is there a faster way to change a time based parameter (such as delay time) on the 500x than turning and turning and turning of the edit knob? I guess what I'm meaning is if I am adjusting delay time and want to change the delay time parameter setting from say, 350ms, to dotted 8ths, it seems that the turning of the tiny knob is endless due to the slow scrolling speed. I've got an M13 (which functions essentially the same way), but it zips right through the time option to max out and get right to where I want to go without the endless turning. Is there a setting on the HD 500x that allows it to behave more like the M series? I don't necessarily mind turning the knob but on the fly, if you are starting at a 300ms setting and have to scroll through to nearly 1500ms (or whatever), it's a little cumbersome. Am I missing a shortcut of some sort (other than using the computer software - I mean when creating patches from the unit itself)?
