  1. did you select the capture from the drop down menu after adding the clone block? I cloned an overdrive pedal and didn't do that at first and it sounded terrible.
  2. Oh I see what you mean now. i can see where having that option would be useful
  3. if you do a DI capture, then you use whatever cab block you want. if you do a mic capture you physically position the mic, so not in the capture.
  4. I think most of that functionality exists using templates and set lists. https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/presets I have my standard Fender Twin template, load a new preset based on that template, make the appropriate tweaks for the specific song, then save that song. Once that is done, create a setlist under user presets and drag and drop the songs into the setlist. Depending on your global settings, if you make settings on the fly and save them, that songs settings will change on all saved set lists and the parent. if you don't want to save, just bank to a different preset and it will go back to the original version.
  5. Yes, after looking more closely, there is no snapshot only where you select which clone you want to use. i was hoping you could make 3 clones (clean, edge of breakup, driven) and use that as a channel switcher. No big deal, capture at edge of breakup, and either use the guitar volume or pre-gain on the clone for clean tones.
  6. It's a snapshot of the settings, but you do get to dial in pre-gain, post-gain, bass, mids, and treble. It is the same for all modelers as far as I know. what is interesting and I plan on testing is that when you add a clone block the block has a dropdown to select the capture. If that selection is assignable by snapshot that would be a whole new concept (I'll be surprised if that is the case).
  7. Cloned my Notadumble pedal. sounds great. Pre and post gain and eq functionality works well!
  8. I would wager most people don't want that. If you want the same parameters from snapshot to snapshot, you would have to manually change every single parameter to match. For instance, on my main worship preset, I have a very subtle chorus, EQ, and two compressors that are always on at the same settings. I would be extremely annoyed building out a preset that I had to manually enter the same parameters for 4 different effects across 8 snapshots. Perhaps a setting could be added to enable/disable that functionality.
