This is what I do; I use the headphone output for my own on stage stereo monitors (you can set the Stomp's output volume to control only the headphone output) and use the main outputs for FOH. I don't have to change anything to my presets.

I have the same HX Stomp XL setup, the main outputs to FOH and the headphone output to my two FRFR wedges for my own monitoring. Works great and I keep all the DSP blocks for sound design.

I have a StompXL and I run it stereo, I use the headphone outs to a pair of FRFRs wedges in front of me on each side of the main wedge for monitoring the rest of the band. The Stomp's main outs go to FOH. My guitar is mostly in the middle and the stereo effect is for chorus and reverbs and the occasional pan effects like ping-pong delays. The use of two wedges also gives me an extra 3 db (SPL) of output and therefore more headroom.

It could be a clocking problem, make sure that the Helix is the master clock in the audio/midi application or maybe try to make an aggregate device combining the Mac's internal audio and your Helix and set the Helix as the master clock and use the aggregate as your system audio device.

Yes I have, both HX Edit and Helix Native work on my M1 mini (with Apple Silicone). I don't know for Intel processors because my old MacBook can only run Catalina.

I always make my own presets from scratch so yes I delete the stock presets to make space for mine. I use the first positions for a set list (one or more preset per tune, each tune as one or more snapshots) and use the last positions to store my presets. I like to build presets for each of my guitars as a starting point.

Finally fixed the problem with idea scale, turns out it was my add blocker preventing me to access the accept cookies popup on the site. So it was not Safari after all. Hope this helps anybody with the same problem!

An update, I was able to go to ideascale by using Chrome instead of Safari. Also I did not know I had to create another account which I was able to do with Chrome.

Just plug-in to the instrument input of your amp but make sure you have the Helix output set to instrument. I do this all the time because my amp does not have an effect loop (old Fender Bandmaster) and you have all the controls you need both amp and Helix.

Thanks datacommando, I didn't know this works on an Helix Floor. It sure does not on my Helix Stomp XL. Unfortunately I cannot post in ideascale, everything is greyed-out (read-only). Maybe because I am a new here.

Anybody else interested in having the possibility of using your Helix tuner (Stomp, StompXL, LT ...) on every inputs of your device? I would find that very useful on my Helix Stomp XL when I'm using the return inputs for another guitar.
