Awesome, this made my old bespeco pedal that was collecting dust in the basement useable again...
If you can open up the jack (or change the cable) of your TRS connected pedal one does not even need to open up the pedal, it's also possible to make the modification inside the jack. I believe the TRS pedals are mostly all wired up in the same way. The ring is connected to the wiper and the sleeve and tip are connected to the far sides of the potentiometer. So all you have to do is connect the ring to either the tip or the sleeve inside the jack and you're done.
