  1. I put a new song in my music website called "He Won't Lead You Astray". The song is mostly synths, though there is rhythm guitar during the chorus (first starts at 0:50); that is one brand of amp model. Then the are two guitars that start later on: one lower pitch guitar starts playing at 1:12 and a higher pitch lead guitar starts at 1:20, those are the other brand of amp model. The one brand is Mercuriall U530 Free, and the other is Line 6 PodXT. Can you tell which is which? Please tell me how you like the song and how it can be improved. Here is the link (it's the song on top): http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=224436

  5. I put 2 songs in my music website: "Will They Ever Go Away" is on top, and "Shooting the Loop Too" is the next song down. One song uses all Roland COSM amp models for guitar, and the other song uses all PodXT amp models for guitar. Can you tell which is which? Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved. Here is the link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=224436

  7. OK, here are the answers: "Amp Model 1" = Mercuriall U530 Free. "Amp Model 2" = PodXT. "Amp Model 3" = Softube Metal Amp Room.
  8. OK, here are the answers: "Amp Model 1" = Mercuriall U530 Free (which Triryche got correct). "Amp Model 2" = PodXT. "Amp Model 3" = Softube Metal Amp Room. Thank you Triryche for listening and commenting, and giving it a shot.
  9. To be honest, I wouldn't be ready to buy Helix Native yet because I would have to update my Mac OSX first. But for future reference I'd want to know what the best price is. I've tried out the Helix hardware, but not the Native yet. So today I see something about Line 6 having a 30% discount on "all software" with a particular discount code. I entered the coupon code on the purchasing page, and the price didn't change from the usual ~$400. What's up with that?
  10. This isn't for the faint of heart, but I think you're up for it. I put a new song in my music website called "Set Your Sights For the Celestial". It uses three different brands of amp modeling: PodXT, Mercuriall Audio Software Tube Amp Ultra 530 Free, and Softube Metal Amp Room. It might not sound like it, though the song starts right away with guitar (with Waves MetaFilter): let's call that "Amp Model 1". Then at 0:32, there is the double-tracked rhythm guitar using "Amp Model 2". Then during the chorus (which first starts at 1:32), there is "Amp Model 1" again, though this time for the double-tracked rhythm guitar. At 2:04 is the lead (Cry-Baby wah-wah) guitar, which uses "Amp Model 3". Can you tell which amp model is which? Please tell me how you like this song, and how it can be improved. It is the song at the top of this link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=224436

  14. I put a new song in my music website called "Contain Yourself". All of the guitar is using either PodXT or Softube Vintage Amp Room amp models. The one brand is used for the double-tracked rhythm guitar during the chorus, and the other brand is used for all other guitar (verse, slide, and lead guitar). Can you tell which is which? Please tell me how you like the song and how it can be improved. Here is the link, it is the song on top: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=224436

  20. I currently have Mac OSX 10.9.5, so I believe I would have to update to Mac OSX 10.10.
  21. I'm disappointed in the answer, but thank you guys for answering my question. I think I will try Helix hardware before I go through the hassle of updating my OSX. If I like the hardware sound, then I'd know it's worth the OSX update. I only need software, and it costs way less.
  22. I googled this topic and found nothing: what will the system requirements for Helix Native be? I have an iMac (several years old) with Mac OSX 10.9.5. I now wonder if my OSX is going to work.
  23. I subscribe to electronic Musician magazine and just got the September issue: they review a "in the final stages of Beta testing" Helix Native.
  24. OK, here are the answers: the rhythm guitar is all Studio Devil Amp Modeler Pro on guitar. The lead guitar is PodXT with Dunlop Cry-Baby wah pedal.
