  1. Thank you Rd2rk. Having in mind that I do no care to much for the extra outputs and the preamp mic of the Floor, but I really like the solid construction, at least it seems "better" or like "more tank" than the LT to me. Would you recommend me to pay the extra $500 for the floor or the LT would be fine. Any advice/suggestion would be appreciated.
  2. I'm having like a USD discount for the floor in a HELIX Floor or LT dated as a 2020 units. Is the Helix hardware the same between 2020 and 2021 or something may have changed in the construction of the unit? Should I take the deal or pay the extra for a 2021 unit? Thank you in advance. Hernan.
  3. Thank you for the time to reply. I understood very well the problem and the workaround. The 3% or 5% threshold will work for me.
  4. Hello. Can anyone please, tell me if it is possible to turn on/off the wah block from my chain with the movement or "some switching" in the helix floor with the Mission L6 EP1 expression pedal connected to the Exp2 Jack? Thank you in advance.
  5. Hi Guys, kind of late to this thread but I see it is related to my question. Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to turn on/off the wah block with the movement or "some switch" in the helix floor with the Mission L6 EP1 expression pedal? Thank you.
  6. Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the "dummy" question, but what patch cable do you use to connect the LT Exp2 socket -->Expression pedal? is it better a regular instrument (guitar) cable, or does it better a TRS cable?
  7. Thank you all for your comments, your input is valuable for my decision.
  8. How sturdy is the Helix LT expression pedal? I'm afraid that this seems kind of "soft"... can you really step on and do a wah solo or change modulations efectcs with confidence? Of course, all whithin normal-careful use, not talking about being rude with the unit. Thank you.
  9. Thank you for your time and comments. ...and I agree with your preference. I think I will be designing my patches with the IR/CAB in the end. Thank you.
  10. Thank you Spaceatl. From the manual: 20. AMP OUT This unbalanced output is meant to send directly to the front of your guitar amp. By default, it reflects the same output as the MAIN outputs (except in mono), but it can be globally switched to be tapped off directly before the Cab/ IR block. This way, you can send a cab-emulated signal to your mixer (or FRFR speaker) while simultaneously sending a non-cab-emulated signal to your guitar amp. In my opinion the ONLY way to use the AMP OUT is the second path, any other way you will skip valuable modulations blocks, am I wrong? Any advantage having AMP/PREAMP block followed by the IR/CAB over separate them by a few other EQ and effects blocks? Thank you
  11. What would be the "technical difference" between the folowing signal chains (or signal flows) guitar in-->Wah-->volume control-->gain (drives, distortion, boost, compresor)-->amp modeling-->IR/CAB-->wave/modulation (chorus, flanger, delays, tremolo y reverb) guitar in-->Wah-->volume control-->gain (drives, distortion, boost, compresor)-->amp modeling-->wave/modulation (chorus, flanger, delays, tremolo y reverb)-->IR/CAB is it one better than the other? Please helpme to understand the possible differences, advantages or disadvantages. Thank you in advance.
  12. Where did you got that price??
  13. I see, all clear now! Thank your for your advice and time.
  14. Agree with you, I think this is the idea behind that option. In my case I'm thinking to use the two guitars simultaneously while I'm practicing with my son. In that case the same process chain will be ok for us.
  15. Thank you silverhead. I'm very familiarized with the tone tweaking you and Voxman55 recommended. No problem with that part. Very useful highlight what you did regarding the output set for the patches, I mean PA systems or FRFR speakers versus combo amp. At least, if I finally buy some presets, I will need to work on that settings to adjust it to my equipment, and of course, no one can warrant it will sound good :S. I haven't thought about download de samples and test it on my POD I was going to focus on the demos/videos... nice advice also.
  16. Thank you voxman55, in the end you are right. I fully understand what you want to mean. Any web o .zip file location to share some starting nice IRs? I own the Sony MDR7506 headphone, what do you think about this?
  17. Hello team. I'm onto heavy metal and hard rock most of the time. I like bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica and Bon Jovi. I would like to find a $20-$25 maximum preset bundle to have a good starting point to look for "my sound" with the pod Go. Thru some quick googling I arrived to this three options: https://www.glenndelaune.com/POD-GO-INTERACTIVE/index.html https://line6helixpresets.com/product/the-podgo-starter-kit/ https://shop.line6.com/marketplace/pod-go-metal-through-the-decades-pack.html Do you recommend one of this over the others? Do you have your own recommendation would like to share? Thank you in advance. Hernan
  18. Hello, having in mind POD Go wireless's input can be set to "Guitar+Wireless", does it mean you can use the GTII transmitter in one guitar and a additional cabled guitar connected and operating with the same current preset? If so, is this setup safe?, I mean, I don't want to over load or damage the pod go if I use that option. Hope this does not sound as a dummy question, is kind of basic, but I want to be sure. Thank you in advance. Hernan
  19. Hello team. I would like to buy a couple of studio monitor to attach to my pod go and try and explore the whole preamp and cab modeling at best. Had you connected your PODs Go this way? What would be a good studio monitors to invest in? Thank you. Hernan
  20. Understood... thank you for sharing that approach.
  21. Thank you man. BTW... what poweramp did you buy?
  22. Thank you.. But I don't have studio monitors. In addition, during a gig probably you will need to use an amp instead of going direct to the mixer. So if I understood well, the tones you are getting from the chain POD GO+Amp modeling+Studio are better than the chain POD Go+valve Amp? so far haven't you be able to find a good tone with the valve Amp?
  23. Thank you voxman55 and malhavok, I really appreciate your help.
  24. One additional question: I realized many of my preferred patches in my X3 live had the Volume block after the Stompboxes+Amp modeling block. As you know the Volume block is the first (or second) one in the POD GO presets, so this make me question myself about the "right" or recommended position of the Volume block. Should it be in second place or should it be after the amp and cab modeling? What would be the advantages/disadvantages (or characteristics) of place the volume block in different locations? Thank you.
  25. Dacop13. I really really appreciate your replies. Thank you for taking the time to do it. I understand everything your mention and you were very clear. I have the doubts about using the Amp or PreAmp simulation of the POD Go but now I know I should start tweaking with the PreAmp modeling best. I will let you know my opinion of this setup and the tones I get.
