  1. That's exactly my experience as well. No issues at all until I updated to 3.70 :(
  2. Thanks man. Unfortunately, I've already done that on both computers. It disconnected again after remaining connected for hours. Really strange behavior. Not sure what else it could be. Ugh.
  3. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I guess I spoke too quickly about the helix itself (hopefully it's not a hardware issue). I think it may have been a driver issue. I'm not running other programs, testing on 2 separate laptops, not using a hub, no SD cards inserted, HX Edit is the only program open. I did some searching to find similar issues, and one user said that when he removed the HX Stomp driver everything started working for him (stable for days apparently). I just did that and so far, it's staying connected (fingers crossed - it's now been about 30 minutes). Strange stuff for sure - maybe there's a conflict between the drivers or something?

I just did that and so far, it's staying connected (fingers crossed - it's only been about 15 minutes, but that's a lot longer than before, at least). So, if it's not a bug that's cool, but if it's caused by having other drivers installed like the Stomp, then hopefully Line 6 will take note as it could be an issue with the drivers conflicting. I'll come back and update this if it disconnects again, but it seems promising so far.
  5. My USB connection keeps dropping. I've tried it on 2 separate computers with multiple USB cables. It's clearly the Helix. I'm on the latest firmware (3.70). I didn't have this problem before the update. I'm lucky to get 5 minutes of playing and it just disconnects and says "connection interrupted" or "no device connected" at the bottom of helix edit.

  7. How to disassemble: Basically, remove all back and top screws (6 total) and wedge a butter knife (or some other smooth wedge) down the back a bit - it's lightly glued;
  8. Hey guys, I just sold my HD500 with the fully loaded bundle, but the buyer is saying that he's missing the vintage amps. How do I transfer the fully loaded bundle to him? I don't see the gift option next to it. Do I just need to de-register my HD500, or is there some other way for him to get it? thanks!
  9. lol. Just found out that I have both 1.1 and 2.0 ports. All is well now. Helix recognized. Thanks!

    USB 1.1?

    Hi, New Helix user here. My current computer only has USB 1.1 ports. Will Helix even work with these or do I need to upgrade to USB 2.0? Thanks!
