  2. Hello, everybody! I have the POD HD500x and the display light does not work unless I press really hard on the screen but then as soon as I let it go the screen light stops working again. Seems like there is a short or something. I can see what amp or effects I'm using but only if my face is about 2 feet from the screen but if I'm standing up playing I can't see the screen at all. Has anybody seen this before? Is there a fix I can do at home to avoid having to send the unit back to Line 6 for a repair. Any suggestions? -Ron
  3. I had 4 patches and they were all affected. If I hit the "master volume" by mistake on one of the patches it would only affect that patch, correct? I don't think it would affect all of the patches.
  4. Yes. It was set to "normal".
  5. I help lead worship at my church and play lead/electric guitar and we practice on Thursdays. I had all my sounds programmed in for the songs we were doing and then when I got to the church on Sunday to run through the songs I noticed that my sound was not very loud in my monitor and the sound guy had to turn me way up. He claims he didn't change any settings since we practiced and I didn't either. The sounds were great and nothing else was affected but he had to turn me way up in the monitors and the mains. I checked everything I could think of and nothing was out of place. Does anybody have any suggestions on what could have happened or what I can check in my pod?
  6. Hey, everybody. Before I send in my HD500x for service I wanted to post here first. My backlight on the screen has been completely off or very dim. If I tap the glass lightly sometimes it comes on like it should. Any suggestions? -Ron

  8. I am new to the Amplifi products so please forgive my ignorance. I wanted to know if you download the Amplifi remote app on your android can you use it as a standalone application? In other words.....can I upload a snippet of a song and will the app give me a reading on what type amp and effects it could be using and what the settings are? I have a JTV69 and POD HD500X and would like to use the Amplifi remote to give me a general idea how the sound was aquired and then I can get a head start when I try to re-create the sound on my POD.
  9. Thank you all for your responses. I upgraded from an X3L to the 500x and it is a completely different beast. I thought it was defective. Your responses helped a lot. Thanks again.
  10. Does it come from the factory that way? If you have one you would have experienced the same thing, correct?
  11. I just bought a used hd500x and restored it to factory settings and updated everything. Some of the preset sounds have no sound at all. What could I be doing wrong? - Ron

  13. I would like to download a few new tones I grabbed from Customtone but cannot find my USB cable that came with my POD. I don't see anywhere on the site where I can buy a new one. Does anybody know where I can buy one? - Ron
