  1. Hi, I think I have found a bug in the setup of the split A/B block on my Helix stadium floor running latest 1.4 firmware. Let me explain. I created a preset called Fixxxer Digital. I have added a split A/B block to split my clean amp (Jazz Rivet 120) and my dirty amp (Cali 2C+). I use snapshots to switch between my clean and distorted amps. On this split A/B block I can save the route to A or B for each snapshot. my 2 CLEAN snapshots have the value set to A100 (clean amp) and my 3 DISTORTION snapshots have the value set to B100 (dirty amp). When I push the buttons of the snapshots I can see the value change between A100 and B100. Now the problem is with the first split A/B block in my signal path. I have create this split A/B block to enable either the wah pedal or whammy pedal effect to be controlled by my external pedal Mission EP-1. (this is a spring loaded expression pedal without toe button, and connected to my stadium floor via TRS cable.) The problem is that I can not program this split A/B block between A100 and B100! If I turn it to A100 and save the snapshot, then it is changed for ALL snapshots! When I set the value to B100 and save the snapshot, the block remains B for all snwpshots! I tried changing the split block to a split Y block, and then changing it again to split A/B, but the problem remains the same. How is this possible? Again, the 2nd split A/B block just before the 2 amps is working fine. In below image you can see my signal path with 2 A/B split blocks. The split just before both amps works fine, I have the block always enabled and the value changes from A100 to B100 when I press different snapshots. However the first split block before the whammy/wah does not let me save A100 and B100... I did create a support ticket to Line6.
  2. I opened a support ticket. They asked me to upload the preset with the y split. They tested it and said they can not hear the wah in the preset. I tested the same preset and for me but the wah is still on together with the whammy (which is wrong as I only want to hear the whammy in that particular preset)! So clearly something is wrong. But now with the A/B split my problem is solved. I will report back to that ticket to tell them. If you want you could simulate my problem and see if your unit has the same behaviour or not?
  3. So ok, I think I have finally solved my own problem... Instead of using the Y split block, I have used the A/B split block. Put the wah in the split. When I want only the whammy to be heard I set the route in the split to 100% to A where the whammy is located. When using the Snapshot for KITNO SOLO the A/B split sends the signal only to A. The wah is still enabled and controlled by the same Mission EXP pedal, but you can't hear it. (well I need to test this setup as I use the 4 cable method to connect the Helix to my Dual REctifier amp. Below snapshot is used for Distortion + wah pedal. The A/B split is disabled so the signal goes through the wah and also through the whammy but whammy block is disabled: Below snapshot is used for KINTO SOLO: The A/B split is enabled so the signal goes only to path A where the whammy is. whammy block is enabled:
  4. Ok but can you tell me why when I disable the split, that the wah wah is still audible? Since I disable the split path, the signal should not go via the wah and as such the wah should not be audible right! Even if the EXP pedal still activates the wah block, it should not be hearable as the split is disabled? Is this a bug in the Helix?
  5. OK could you tell me how I change the routing values?
  6. I have the Helix stadium floor together with a Mission EP-1 expression pedal connected via TRS cabel to the herlix control A/B input. I use snapshots. I use a wah pedal and a whammy pedal both controlled by the EP-1 pedal. I have created a split signal on my chain where the whammy pedal is on my main chain, and a split with the wah pedal in paralel. On all my snapshots my wah pedal auto activates when I move the EP1 expression pedal and the whammy pedal is disabled. That works fine. The problem is this: On 1 snapshot I want the wah pedal to be disabled/not cactivated by my EP1 expression pedal. Instead I want the whammy pedal to be active and controlled my the EP1. I am unable to do this! I can enable the whammy in the snapshot, but when I move the expression pedal it not only controls the whammy but also still activates the wah pedal! I have disabled the split signal on that snwpahot which contains the wah pedal, so in theory the wah pedal should not be heard in the signal, but it is still activated and you can hear it. The 2 pictures in attachment are: 01: Snapshot with split enabled and wah gets activated when I move my Mission EP1 pedal 02: Snapshot with split DISABLED (wah disabled) and whammy enabled. When I move my Mission EP1 pedal the whammy is working, but the wah still auto engages and also can be heard.
  7. I have the exact same problem and not solved and the snapshot bypass was set to the right... please help!
  8. Hi All, I currently use my Helix Floor only for FX, connected to my dual rectifier head and 4x12 cab using the 4 cable method. However for home practice, I want to use my helix floor connected directly to my 2x12 cab and using helix amp models. Is t hat possible? How do I create a new prest for this and how do I connecte my helix to my cab directly?
  9. Hi, I have a pedaltrain Novo24, and the Helix barely fits on it... I also had to cut some foam from the pedaltrain hardcase because indeed the pedaltrain + Helix are too thick. But this didn't really answer your question ;-)
  10. Hi, I made a request to remove (or make smaller) the snapshot camera logo on the displays next to the switches. 1 of the reasons I bought the helix is the small displays next to the switches. Since preset mode is not usable in a live situation, I'm using snapshots as most people here... What annoys me is that in preset mode we have 2 lines of text per display, while in snapshot mode only 1 line and that stupid camera logo is taking up 1/3 of each display. And we do see that we are in snapshot mode as the camera logo is also visible on the helix main display top right corner. This is the link to the Line6 ideascale: https://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Remove-snapshot-camera-logo-and-give-us-2-lines-of-text-instead/945232-23508#idea-tab-comments I would appreciate some extra votes on this topic. Cheers.
