  1. dboomer's post in M20D - Can't move input? was marked as the answer
I tried your setup and what I found is that you have used a preset for input 3 that cannot ever be moved to 13-16 because it requires more DSP than is available on the line inputs.  That preset (kick drum) will only operate in 1-12.  The preset that you used for input 2 is one of those Arne mentioned in post #2 (AC gtr direct) and that one can be moved to any input.
  2. dboomer's post in Spare parts for Handheld? was marked as the answer
    It's the same part.
  3. dboomer's post in FBS in mixer and speakers simultaneously was marked as the answer
Probably not a good practice most times.  In the mixer FBS filters are dropped onto the specific channel that is feeding back and is problematic.  But when triggered in the speaker that filter is imposed on everything going through the speaker.  In almost all cases there would be no audible difference but you are carving out material that does not need to be carved out.

Generally speaking, if you've trigger even half of the available filters in the mixer there is almost nothing else to be gained in a practical sense at this point. So the thought that you are somehow adding additional filters isn't likely to be of any benefit.
  4. dboomer's post in all mute on Ipad was marked as the answer
No.  The "all mute" button is hardware on the mixer.  The idea is if the firmware failed somehow then the firmware may not be able to shut down the system.
  5. dboomer's post in Xd v75 for acoustic guitar was marked as the answer
You will need one complete system for vocals and one for your guitar (same as with any wireless systems).
  6. dboomer's post in Imput sensor MonitorB stuck on icon in input bar Lit up as if one was plugged inas if a monitor was pluged in? was marked as the answer
Likely the sensor switch is stuck. This happens sometimes because all XLRs don't fif the same. You can free it by gently pushing it with a toothpick.

Try changing how the rotaries track inside the app
  8. dboomer's post in Anyone finding sluggish mixer response when pushed hard? was marked as the answer
Using multiple iPads on a network will invariably slow that network. That's a wifi problem.

That said, it will work better if used with an external router than a dongle wifi stick.
  9. dboomer's post in Xd-v75 with Shure Beta 58a Capsule, which Dynamic Filter? was marked as the answer
In most cases NORM.  The filter is only active when the mic picks up very little sound so once you are singing it really doesn't matter.
  10. dboomer's post in bodypack differences ( TX75 - TBP 12G)? was marked as the answer
Hardware wise they are identical, only the firmware is different.  So yes, you can use a headset with the Relay model.
  11. dboomer's post in G30 minimum power requirements was marked as the answer
    Hey Gaz

It's marked right on the receiver right next to the power pin.  I don't have one in front of me but I believe that it is 200ma @ 9Vdc.

Here's the deal.  Often power supplies will sag even for a split second and only under the right conditions.  That's why we only certify power supplies after a long QA process.  The more units you have on the supply the more likely will come a time that you run low on current capacity.  Now if at that moment you happen to light up an extra LED or two the tiny difference could send you into a temporary brown out.  You'll get a drop out, not because the radio dropped out but rather because the power supply did.  But it will feel like a radio drop.  I'll bet this has happened a fair number of times and blame  accessed to the wrong cause.  Digital electronics will  not give you any warning.  If it were analog you would start to hear the sound deteriorating but digital will stay at 100% until it drops to zero.

So all of that said, when I plan systems I always like to be able to supply double what is called out for.
  12. dboomer's post in M20d and Apple Airport Express was marked as the answer
When you plug the adapter in you are not getting connection to the airport express. That suggests that the USB/Ethernet adapter is no working or the Ethernet cable is not working assuming that you have used the USB port in the mixer before with success.
  13. dboomer's post in More XLR inputs - pros and cons of 2 m20ds was marked as the answer
I don't think the added latency will cause you much difficulty. The only time it is an issue is with the use on In Ear Monitors and then only with some performers. Otherwise a small latency is usually a benefit in a PA system.

If you happen to also be using XDV wireless the latency there is 3 times more than you will be adding by adding a second M20d to your setup. There are 100,000 of them being used with no problem.
  14. dboomer's post in G50 Level Control? was marked as the answer
Just like there is no volume control on your guitar cord, there is no volume control on G50's.  They are unity devices and simply put out the same voltage they receive in (+/-) about .5 dB.

    That will kill you  ;)

They MUST all be in the same mode.
  16. dboomer's post in Antennas for Relay G50 was marked as the answer
The half wave antennas has a couple of dB more gain than the quarter wave and can be used at the end of a cable. Quarter wave antennas must be used directly on the receiver.

The quarter wave antenna is a bit shorter and less likely to get kicked when your receiver is on the floor.

You could mix them if you wish.
  17. dboomer's post in Need help with volume issue was marked as the answer
The max power is not related to knob position but it will affect the quality of sound and the hiss level if you set it other than at 12:00.

If you need to sound louder, select the "punchy PA" preset for the mains.
  18. dboomer's post in Different capsules in tx55 and tx75? was marked as the answer
The capsule in the V75 has additional shock mounting but is otherwise the same.
  19. dboomer's post in Not sure on the firmware version of my Relay G30 was marked as the answer
If you can't get a reed out of the firmware version your unit is running v1.x and will only run in RF1 mode.

A better way to check for possible interference with a G30 is to turn on the receiver only and note the number of red LEDs you get in the RF ladder while switching channels.  You will never get completely free channels but the ones that have the fewest red LEDs lit up will probably work the best.  But even though you get red LEDs on that does NOT mean that the system will not work.  It just means it will have shorter range.

  21. dboomer's post in Feedback Suppression - Other Monitors was marked as the answer
The FBS works on the input and so it covers any any all speakers that the input is assigned to.  That said if your other monitors are significantly different then they could be the ones causing the feedback to occur.

If you can spare an additional output bus then assigning it separately would give your the ability to EQ them separately.  This may or may not make a difference, but it is the most flexible.
  22. dboomer's post in Problem With Xd V75 was marked as the answer
Make certain you plug the USB cable in BEFORE you plug in the power supply.
