  1. It is indeed a good Feature, to see, that you have signal on that channel. You anyway will Mix by ear and not by visual height of a gern bar
  2. Sure, the first and powerful point to start with is the global EQ for your specific output on which it sounds muffled.
  3. Thanks for sharing! So you reduced the input impedance? Instrument impedance should be higher (MOhms for tube amps)? Sure, this should tame the highs but also lead to a more lifeless tone? I Will try this, nevertheless! Thanks!
  4. If you are used to the cleans of your Fillmore and want that in the Stadium, you now have the option to clone your Fillmore. I'd really recommend that... If you can, use a load box and a cab model with Jensen speaker from the Stadium - with "normal" mic settings (e.g. some classic mic, 3 inch distance, somewhere in the middle between cone and edge - just put it there and leave it alone, do the rest with std EQ). If you dont have a loadbox, second best option is the model of the preamp only (via send/return - stadium will help you through the process).
  5. As far as I understand the communication from L6, they are working on a sharing platform. ...however... I am coming from kemper, and suggest not to put too much hope in this. That space will be flooded very fast with 1000s of proxys... and it will be very hard to find the good ones. I really think, proxy is great to use, if you want to take your own amp. Using more or less good clones from other guys, done for their individual guitar is possible, but costs a lot of time to find the ones you will like with your guitar and speaker system. I also do not recommend to buy any clones from vendors... you already have the most important amps modeled...
  6. Yes, I agree... However, its hard to solve these issues? At least I dont know how... I cloned via load box - and to compare, I would of course love to just "bypass the hole amp" and have a power amp going into my cab. But neither that power amp nor the connection exist. Thats why I can compare only via a modeled box into my FRFR... For sure, that is not the same, but showed me, that the clone captured the general asnwer/sound and feel of the amp. When cloning the whole chain íncluding Cab and mic... how would a fair/close/real comparison look like? I think, thare just is no other way than going into FRFR.. and this will sound different compared to standing next to an amp with cabinet.
  7. It should Sound same or very similar to the sound, that the Microfone picks up. This is not the same as the amp in the room. Muffled however is not what I would expect. Did you accidently used another cab block in your chain? When cloning via mic in front of a guitar cab, cab is included in the profile.... Sounds logical, as it is ;)
  8. I had this on a clean amp with 1.3. 1.3.1 massivly reduced it, so that I can use the clone. I think L6 did not reach maximum performance, yet, but usability and integration is great. Thus, although kemper profile might(??) be a bit more accurate (not sure if that is really the case) I reached a better overall rig with less time effort with my helix stadium floor. I only profiled clean, yet. I can only hear your examples on mobile phone speaker... so I am not sure, if we talk about the same phenomenon... but 1.3 indeed was a disappointment for me. 1.3.1 works so far. (Load box profile)
  9. If that works for you, you can also try to put both amp and cab at the very end of your chain and add a Split Block before that. You can route the splitted signal without amp and cab to a different output than the other complete chain.
  10. ..but tbh... I personally do not perceive the gap between switching presets as soooo bad.. And I am quite sure, it will get better with future updates. You hear it, because there is silence while switching. If it wasnt, (as e.g. im kemper, where the gap is there but Firlefanz with spillover) I would not care at all...
  11. I dont think it saves CPU when cloning without cab, as you will need one afterwards ;) Not sure, though. Regarding your understanding of amp channels: yes, each channel will be its own clone. I did not try myself, but I saw people on YouTube using three clones in own preset, utilizing both CPUs (you just can do this by guiding path one out to path 2 in). Two proxies/path seem to work.
  12. No. I had not had the issue before, that guitar volume down increased gain, nor do I havecit now. 1.3 made my clone with too much gain and added buzz. 1.3.1 improved both. I am happy with my clone, now.
  13. Hi Just want to give Feedback: The Update solve my issues. Great clone, now! I had other minor bugs: comparing clone with original did not work, as guitar signal was not Feedback to amp, when playing the clone, but the result is what I wanted!
  14. If you are happy, why should you?!? I am not happy with my first clone and stopped cloning accordingly. I will try if the Update helped.
  15. Alright... just saw that there is already an update... I will see, if that already helps ;)
  16. Alright :) did not read that in the release notes.. where did you find that information? Will try another one with preamp only, tomorrow - this should work? Edit: just came to my mind - I appreciate L6 trying to launch as fast as possible- However, this time it might have been unlucky... i can already hear YT "influencer" talking down proxy... as soon this downtalk is in the room, it will be hard to get this on a fair track again...
  17. Hi, I just did my first proxy clone - clean channel on my mesa express 5:50+. The clone somehow got the sound - however, I have to dial my guitar volume back to 5 to get a distortion similar to the amp (nearly none) - and still have some annoying buzz/fizz/noise going. Leaving guitar on 10 and trying to reduce pre-Gain gets an okayish distortion level on -13dB - but still has this buzz. The distortion produced is quite nice, but not what I tried to get with the amp settings. The "buzz" is not nice at all. Before you ask: of course I put the back coming signal to the green area before starting the clone process... What might be wrong on my side? Edit: some more info: I did an amp capture with load box. Playing over a custom 1x12 box in reality and a simulated 1x12 Cali IV in the stadium.
  18. I also have issues with the App - but more in the way, that it likes to disconnect quite often... Not sure if this is due to bugs or bad wifi. My wifi is not very strong in my rehersal room. For such cases, I still would prefer an old school usb connection ;) I stoped using the app - and wait for a next update.
  19. Wow... You are very helpful! Thanks a lot!!! ...everything seems to be possible ;)
  20. I managed to dial in three snapshots and put them on my controllers in stomp mode within 15 minutes before rehearsal, yesterday :) That is just great! Thanks for the input!!! ..what I found, when dealing with snapshots (sorry, other question.. not sure if i should make new thread?): 1) I press snapshot 1 and play. 2) Add e.g. delay with foot switch. 3) I switch to snapshot 2 4) coming back to snapshot 1: Delay is still on... It seems like, all changes I make while using a snapshot, automatically saves to that snapshot... I am not sure, if I want this... (Still thinking about this). Would there be a possibility to "stop editing mode"? So that if I come back to sanpshot 1, stomps are in their state I defined while setting it up... I also realized, that - no matter what I am doing (e.g. stomp on/off)- the "save" button lights up... this doens't make me feel too good... Thus, the save button is more or less always on, also if I just want to play and are not doing any edits... I think in Kemepr it only lighted up, when I was changing parameters inside the stomps, not while I was just using the rig/preset... I think, I would prefer a clear line between editing/setting up and using a preset. Am I wrong? I might just need to get used to the new thinking and working...?
  21. Thanks! I understand the restrictions, that flexibility is bringing ;) ... and I also prefer the flexibility. I can do without that global cab off. I think, I will anyway not have too many presets going (i guess max three per band, currently just one)... so adding the split is not too much work.
  22. Sounds great! I am not at the unit right now, but will try this evening! Thanks a lot! Did not use the command center, yet... ...how did you find this solution? Seems like I missed some resources, I should read... EDIT: Found it: Command Center | Line 6 Manuals PS: title changed (I am not a native speaker ;) )
  23. Hi, as I said in another thread, I am a new user with Line 6 - and just think I understood Snapshots ;) However, I really love to still get most stomps enabled by foot switches, as using a normal pedal board. I love to have MAAANY foot switches ;) I realized, in snapshot mode, I am loosing 4 (!) of the 10 switchs to controll things like bank up /down, Mode and Tab). It also forces me to have 4 switches assigned to snapshots (combo mode), even if I just want to use two or three. There MUST be a way to just assign a snapshot to a foot switch in stomp mode?!? I love stomp mode, because it leaves me two more switches free (bank up/down). I just cannot find the place to assign a snapshot to a foot switch. Should be easy...?
  24. Thanks! That measns, I am not the only one stumbling over this ;) ... I think, Kemper had a quite easier job here, as their "block positions" are fixed and Stadium is much more flexibel on the positioning of effects, cabs, amps... (and even more than one cab/amp). I can understand, that this flexibility makes it quite hard to program a "global cab-off"-button for a specific output... it would get hard, if someone uses more than one cab (for whatever reason) or dual amp setups with two cabs (for whatever reason...) Maybe that is the reason? .. on the other hand, Line 6 seem to be very creative and may find a way to still do this ;) Til than, I will try to not forget adding splits to my presets.. however, it feels not too good, because again its limiting flexibility: Cab needs to be the last block in the chain. I would have compressor, reverb, EQ afterwards, if there would be a way...
