  1. It seems to be the fix. I'm thinking that a new driver update is coming soon as this seems to be a problem with a lot of Line6 products. M
  2. Thanks AF! Worked for me too. Thankfully as I was going a bit nuts! So is it a L6 or Win issue? Either way, I hope a patch or driver update takes care of it. Thanks again AF! M
  3. Hey all, I'm using a Line6 UX2 and it's default is 44100 Sample, 512 buffer and 16bit. Mixcraft 7 is my DAW. Everything seems to work fine and have noticed no issues. Was reading up a bit and found that a lot of folks record at 48000, 128 and 24 bit. I did this and everything sounded okay but my meters in the track and master were kind of jumpy...... Even if there was no sound the track meter was bouncing up a bit. When recording it was pretty dramatic. Wondering what's up with that. Thanks in advance!
  4. YAY!!!!!!!! All my problems are solved!!!!!!! Thank you so much Triryche and Zap! Everyone else too! Wave forms normal and when I record wet through UX2 stand alone on 3/4 and have MC track set to 3/4 I can play back without UX2 being involved! Plus, through all of this I have learned a bunch! Thanks again! Now I can record my crap with no limitations.
  5. Mixer view in PF or MC? Also, I'm running PF1 and don't have that A/B switch........
  6. Gotcha. Thanks guys! Last night was doing settings in stand alone, closing, then opening PF in vst menu. So if I'm in stand alone, I default to 3/4 in MC and I'll be good for playback without UX2?
  7. Okay....... So at the risk of not being a complete bother........ How should I set it up so I can hear my wet Podfarm tracks without the UX2 being plugged in?
  8. Thanks Triryche! I'm half way there! I have the wavforms at much better levels. Now the only problem is getting MC to play the wet signal when the UX2 isn't plugged in....... Attached are my current settings and I think it's somewhere to do with this......
  9. Thanks Triryche! I'm half way there! I have the wavforms at much better levels. Now the only problem is getting MC to play the wet signal when the UX2 isn't plugged in....... Attached are my current settings and I think it's somewhere to do with this......
  10. I'll double check when I get home. But if I am getting signal in track and master, and am able to record, would just the sine lines be affected?
  11. Just so I'm positive, do you have a screen shot of this? That's the settings with driver, inputs and recording and MIDI tabs?
  12. First off, thanks guys. My settings seem to be fine. I have UX2 set up in MC as asio. I'll double check the UX2 settings but I'm sure they're fine, I say this because when I play guitar or Mic vocals, I get a solid signal in the track # box, in the master and in the 'sound' tab which shows the individual track. And......... It records and plays back fine. If it is a hardware issue with UX2 would it just be limited to the sine wave in the track? I'm going to try a couple things tonight. I'll try on another computer and I'll try another DAW demo on my machine. That should tell me if it's the UX2. Though I doubt that a hardware issue would affect just the lines in the track and not in the input bars in track and in master.
  13. I mean all beats, loops and virtual instruments have much more than flat lines in the track bar.
  14. I mean the flat lines in the recording track. And yes I've got the UX2 selected....... It records fine, it just won't play back the recorded pod farm effect......... When I record with the MC effects it records and plays back wet and dry. The flat line in the track is only for UX2 input, MC beats, VST etc are normal, see screenshot.
  15. I'm getting waveforms but they're just flat lines! I put the same question up on Mixcraft forum and a thought is that the software has some sort of glitch. It should record wet and should play back whatever is recorded, wet or dry. Also the waveform flatline is a complete mystery as it's just my input and no other of their sounds, beats, vst etc. Going to do the complete (re) install as soon as I hear back from their support.......
  16. I have it set up to record through UX2 and get the wet signal through the tracks effects menu so I know the Pod dll is there and operating. When I attempted to play track back without UX2 it said that the effect wouldn't have the effect without UX2 plugged in. Silverhead, yes I have all I/0 set properly and am recording. I don't have any problems with other dll files in Mixcraft.
  17. Right, it shouldn't matter, what I record should be captured wet or dry.......... All of my settings are correct and I switched I/O when I unplugged UX2....... I've got a ticket in with Acoustica so hoping it's an easy fix....... Recording tracks just being a flat line makes me think I have a software issue........ I'll let you know and thanks for the input!
  18. I get that, and thanks. But I'm just confused by the fact that if I record something it should stay the way I recorded it. I shouldn't have to have the UX2 plugged in to listen to what I've recorded........ I'm pretty sure that I've been able to record onto other DAW and having it record my wet signal and kept it even without UX2 being plugged in.......
  19. So there's no way to record a track using the UX2 and not be able to play it back with that effect/s? So, it can be mixed down and recorded as long as you have the UX2 then it can be converted? Sorry for the ignorance....... New at this and running into small walls at every turn. Any idea why my signal, both wet and dry and has no lines/recording input in the tracks? All of my settings are correct as far as I can tell......... Thanks in advance.
  20. Hey, Sorry if this has been covered before and I'm just missing it but I have a problem with my UX2 and Mixraft 7 playback. I have no issues with set up (I'm sure this is not the case) and adding effects to tracks with Pod Farm while recording, or playing back when UX2 is plugged in. When I go to play the saved track back in non asio settings, my PF effects just come out as dry. Surly you must be able to playback without the UX2 and asio engaged. It's just PF because I've added and recorded effects with included and other added vst's. Also........ When I'm recording my input the track display doesn't have the 'lines' that go up and down with the input, ie it's just a straight black line, it doesn't react like the normal meter does. Hopefully this all makes sense and someone can point me in the right direction, I'm sure it's something simple I'm overlooking but I just can't figure it out. Thanks! P.S. Attached is a screenshot to show the tracks
