I want to play guitar using linux and my POD Studio UX1. Output works perfectly fine, the interface is detected and gives a great tone for everything i play on my computer. However, input from the UX1 is not working. Jack is started and seems to be wired correctly but i get no instrument input. Does the UX1 instument input have problems with linux in general or am I missing something? On Windows with POD Farm it worked. Thanks for helping!

Hi everyone A while ago I had this UX1 working perfectly but now I've upgraded to W10, don't know if that's the root cause of my problem but maybe it'll prove helpful. The first time I installed everything and got hardware set-up, I could see all of the amps were present in the software but the software wasn't receiving any signal from my guitar. the input gauge above the threshold/decay knobs never budged. So, I decided to uninstall and reinstall and lo and behold, I got signal but now I could only play clean, as I got an error code (8000a002) whenever I tried to choose a preset or an amp/pedal. My computer and the pod were authorized in License Manager, the extra presets were downloaded and I even ran the Line 6 monkey and made sure everything was updated. So I thought I'd uninstall and reinstall again, in fact I did this twice and both times the first outcome repeated itself (all amps present but no input). I did notice something weird in the settings screen so I thought i'd include it. Please help! This is driving me insane.

I'm having a very frustrating issue with my UX1. it's been working perfectly fine since I purchased it back in Sept. '13 and I hadn't had any problems with it. The other day I plugged my interface into my laptop to play my guitar and I wasn't getting any response when I would start to play, all I get is a lot of feedback/buzzing. I tried a different guitar and got the same result. It's really frustrating because that's what I bout the interface for in the first place, to play and record guitar but now I'm not able to do that. If anyone could offer the slightest help I would be very appreciative. p.s. I can hear audio through the interface through my headphones when I listen to music or watch videos but I get nothing when playing guitar

Hey guys, I recently picked up the UX1 and have been really happy with it so far, running it through a pair of Samson reference headphones. However I'm looking at moving to a budget pair of studio monitor speakers and would like to know if anyone has had any success with a pair going for about $300? At the moment I'm looking at the Rokkit RP5 and the AudioEngine A5+. From the reviews I've read, the AudioEngine's have a little colouring, but lends themselves to rock and the likes as a result. Working out of a study which no doubt has a fair bit of swing, flat response isn't really on the cards. All I want is a pair of studio monitors that provide a fairly neutral representation of what I'm playing and overall, sound good with PodFarm. Thanks in advance
