andrewbazzo
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for recording vocals through the Pod HD500? I realise that this isn't what it was designed for but hoping that there might be a way to make it work that i am missing. I don't have an audio interface at present and I will end up getting one eventually... But in the interim, can anyone offer any tips of set up? I've tried creating a patch and running it through Logic Pro but the signal strength is always weak. No matter what I do to beef it up, I end up with a tinny sound - equivalent to recording with a tape recorder in the old days! Any suggestions appreciated. silverhead
The factory presets in the HD500 include a Setlist that contains a number of vocal presets. I would start there and tweak as desired.

I have always found the vocal preset set list pretty usable without too much tweaking (unlike the guitar presets lol)
andrewbazzo
Thanks for the replies Gents. In the 'FX Heavy' setlist, i located a couple of vocal presents on bank 16. I think there are a couple of others in there too but I really just want a clean tone. Am i missing some? Any suggestions for tweaking to get a strong signal in Logic?
