berniedexter
I own a JTV-69, and I use the black charger with the blinking red light to charge my battery. I don't use the guitar very often, but I would like it to be charged when I need it to be ready. Can I leave the battery in the charger with the red light on indefinitely? Charlie_Watt
I would not recommend it. If anything goes wrong, it could damage the battery. That battery will hold a charge for months.

NBell
Yes, you can leave your battery in the charger. The red light starts blinking indicating the charging cycle is finished(stopped), so the battery will not get overcharged/damaged.
