The_Djentry
Hi all, This is my first post on the forum. I have had my POD HD500X for almost half a year now and I am still earning how to use most of its functions. Here is my big questions: Is it possible to store mp3 samples in the POD HD500X and assign stomps to play them similar to mapping samples to a MIDI controller? I'm in a 6 piece progressive metal band and I am trying to find an easy way to activate our bass drops and other sampled sounds while we play our set. I would prefer to not have to run the entire show through Ableton or Protools given that I do not own either (I am a Logic producer). I would like to keep things as simple as possible without having to incorporate my computer in the set. Thoughts? Dave
silverhead
No. You can't store MP3 samples in the POD. You would need a midi-capable external MP3 player and a midi controller as you describe. You might be able to use the POD as your midi controller; you can assign midi commands to the footswitches.
