mazuwa
toneman2121
global reset; hold down the left arrow on the navigation button while you energize the pod back up the patches you have made beforehand!
mazuwa
Hey toneman2121, I understand that savon has got a computer with Windows XP and internet, where everything works fine. His computer with Windows 7 in the studio doesn't have internet and Monkey cannot find the device. I think he just hasn't installed the driver on Windows 7 system correctly. He really should install the driver before he is going to make a global reset.
toneman2121
My problem is that with win7 which nevertheless possesses line6 Monkey and all the drivers do not see the pod is yet Rellie via USB i'm assuming he has drivers installed
mazuwa
Well, savon will know what's the problem. I hope he will post, because many users leave their threads open.
toneman2121
at one point, the computer that doesn't have internet access, obviously was connected to the internet, since line6 monkey is installed. savon obviously knows how to install the drivers and firmware since his other computer sees the hd. a global reset is the easiest and quickest thing to do. i' assuming savon is indicating that monkey and the drivers are installed when he writes- "...win7 which nevertheless possesses line6 Monkey and all the drivers..." mazuwa
Hi toneman2121,Yes, Savon just has confirmed over messenger that he has the drivers surely installed and they are in the studio available, even without internet. He is asking if I have another idea, because he thinks he has got an USB port problem.I asked him if he uses an USB hub, and he replied he doesn't have an USB hub.Of course I told him also from your idea to do the global reset. Unfortunately he seems to have problems posting here and only the messenger is working. Now he thinks about a defect motherboard, but I told him to test some other devices or to use another USB port.
toneman2121
of course there could have been an error installing the drivers, as you suggest and if his win7 has an internet connection available, he should try that also
mazuwa
>Please also check if all Line6 software is the latest. Is monkey up to date? Im asking this because in the studio there is no internet and maybe you have old drivers.
mazuwa
In short words: Monkey is now seeing the POD - all software is up to date now, but Savon doesn't hear any sound. He is asking how the sound will be transmitted - over USB or over L-R jacks.
mazuwa
>The sound will be transfered over USB, but to hear a sound the speaker must be connected to the POD. Maybe the volume sliders of the Asio driver must be configured.

mazuwa
