ehzool
I read that it's possible to get an external MIDI tap tempo controller to control delays on my M13. Is this true? If you route it to the right CC#? (Whatever that means) My tap tempo switch on my M13 works perfectly but I would like to a tap tempo controller off stage so somebody else can control it. What is the cheapest controller to do this? I could only find this one - Are there any other cheaper ones that will get the job done? http://www.midisolutions.com/prodfsw.htm

phil_m
Alright beautiful. Thanks! So how would I go about setting this up? Well, it's already programmed with the appropriate CC# to control the M13's tap tempo, so all you have to do is connect a MIDI cable from this pedal's MIDI out to the M13's MIDI in. Then just tap until your heart's content. You mentioned possibly having someone off-stage control this. The one thing to be aware is that there is a limit to the length of MIDI cable you can have and still have a reliable signal. The maximum run is 50' with a quality cable. With a cheaper cable, you might want to consider 20' the max.
