billlorentzen
I like the sound of the analog chorus, but it boosts volume like 3-4 dB which makes certain patches too loud. I have not been able to dial in a good sound with the trichorus. Anyone know some tricks or settings to get a nice smooth moderate chorus with the Tri? Dutchguitarist
Personally I combine the analog chorus, or any other effect that boost the volume, with the studioEQ, which enables me to adjust the volume. Never used the trichorus effectively.
Triryche
My favorite is the Dimension. You can get a very subtle effect on setting 1 or 2
duncann
For the tri chorus, try keeping the mix to ~60-80, and start with all the depths at zero, then proceed to adjust each depth slighly, one by one, until you might like what you hear. Who knows, some of them may end up staying at zero. If you put a chorus before the amp, you'll lose its stereo effect.
billlorentzen
I also use the Dimension as an alternative. Unfortunately, I can't spare the processing for an additional EQ. I'll try putting it before the amp. That might work out, since I rarely use it on heavily distorted patches. Suggestion for line 6: next time model the tc electronic analog chorus (the green one). It blows everything else away. And by the way, just because something is common doesn't make it the best of its type e.g. the Dynacomp (yuck). Suggestion 2: don't make effects boost volume for no reason!
