andyman1974
This might be a dumb question but. New M13 user. I am trying to run my Reverb stomp box last in my chain after my M13 - I figured if I just plugged it in to FX 0ut things would work. But the reverb does not work in that configuration. Please help!!! Holy cow it was a dumb question.. Reverb is last in my chain.. I should probably send it to the amp from there on the out on the M13.. phil_m
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "FX out". Do you mean the FX loop Send? If that's the case, you wouldn't want it there unless you want to have your reverb pedal somewhere in the M13's internal signal chain. If you just want the pedal after the M13, just come out of the M13's main output into your reverb and then from your reverb into your amp (or whatever else is next in your chain). andyman1974
Okay, thanks for the response. The way I just hooked it up completely by passed the M13 - I just want to have a Rever pedal at the end of my chain = Post M13.

andyman1974
Another related question - Is the signal chain setup with the effect banks from left to right? FX1 - FX4 in order? so If I put a Qtr delay on FX1 and a .8th on FX2 they are in that order in the chain?
JTSC777
I think you can set that to go either way.Right to left or left to right.Download the manual and refer to it for many answers re: the M13. I refer to it often when using it as it is a little different from other Line 6 units.
zzw30
Similar problem/confusion to what I am having, But when I think I'm beginning to understand the fx loop and try something it doesn't work, then I loose interest start messing about playi... oh! look! a squirrel!! (before I know it, 2 hours have past, it's getting late and time to put it away for the night. Anyway, I'm trying to incorporate a couple of pedals with my M13, but having no luck in where to put patch them in. I have... Keeley Compressor proVox Ice 9 OverdriveVox Saturator distortionElectro Harmonix Deluxe Big MuffBoss DD20 Delay Boss RC30 Looper I get the compressor and drive pedals working ok when I put them before the M13... guitar > compressor > big muff > saturator > ice 9 > ( in no particular order) > m13 input The dd20 and looper are the problem, will they work after the M13?... M13 output > dd20 > Looper > Amp fx loop return... will this work? Will the looper record a clean sound and overdub with a drive sound (obviously I change the pedal settings for what sound I want to use) Another issue I seem to have is with the M13 on its own wired up with the 4 cable method.. no other pedals. When I go into the setup for the fx loop, when I set it to post fx1, only bank one is affected, the other 3 banks do nothing, post fx2.. 2 banks affected the other 2 do nothing etc etc, I have to set it to either post all or post none (can't remember and I've put it away now as it got late and that bloody squirrel got it's nose in and wasted my testing time) what is going wrong here?
