cthulhu79
Hi All, was wondering if any of you had ever plugged the pod hd500x with headphones out to a cabinet (i got a behringer g412s ).......... was wondering to do that just for home practicing/patches editing purposes because i don't have good headphones/studio monitors . Please be gentle and don't bully me too much!!!!!!!
jandrio
no, pod cannot drive a plain cabinet, u need some kind of amplification...
spaceatl
technically, a headphone amplifier is a stereo audio power amplifier....So there is nothing to stop you from connecting your cabinet assuming that you have a stereo cabinet...You would likely hear some sound too...thin sound...if you run it too hard you risk blowing the headphone amp...definitely not something I would recommend... probably better to just get some powered computer speakers or some cans... cthulhu79
thanks for the feedback! indeed i would not play at loud volume, but nevertheless sounds risky
