ColonelForbin
Not sure if this info has been addressed yet; HD500x owner intending to buy the full set of model packs when they come along later this month, and I typically use my DT25's linked to the HD, so not a big deal but here's the question: Will people who buy the model packs be able to load the new HD preamps onto the DT amps? From what I recall, the added option to update the DT preamps with the full catalog of HD amp models came as a DT firmware update, so I would guess the answer is "maybe in the future".. Thanks!
TheRealZap
There are no plans to add the models to the DT amps they will all still work via L6Link, you just won't be able to get the new models on your DT in standalone mode.
Brazzy
That would've been nice to get the DT firmware updated as well. I didn't even think about it till I saw your thread Colonel.

So if I pick the 5150 pre the DT50 will adjust properly through the L6link?
TheRealZap
yes it will select the correct amp topology and settings for the particular amp selected. (that's just sending the right midi commands to the DT, no update required) So if I pick the 5150 pre the DT50 will adjust properly through the link6?
