Flitske
Dears, I purchased the Amplifi 150 last weekend after an impressive demonstration at my local music store. When arriving at home my dissapointment was huge when I discovered that my WIKO Darkfull Android 4.2.1 smartphone was not compatible with the Amplifi (Ic ould connect to the Amplifi and upload, install and run the Amplifi Remote application without any problem though) The Amplifi Remote application simply doesn't sync with the Amplifi. Bluetooth audio streaming works fine, but that's all. The only way I was capable of using the Amplifi Remote app was by borrowing the old Asus tablet from my daugther. This seemd to work (altough having multiple dropouts on the bluetotth connection with the remote app requiring a lot or resynchornisations, even with the tablet lying on top of the amplifier) Altough the amplifier sounds great, I have to admit that I'm feeling very dissapointed about the working of the Remote application. When reading the different topics on this and also on other forums I can observe that I'm not the only customer that is experiencing these kind of issues. I was thus wondering if you are planning to release a version of the Amplifi Remote application soon that could run on the PC and connected via USB. This would vastly improve the reliability of the connection and the stability of the application. It would probably also open a new market of customers that hesitate to buy the Amplifi, scared by the numerous stories of bluetooth connection issues they read on the net. Finally I would also like to ask you if it would be possible to publish a regular update of the compatible Android tablets and smartphones, because if I plan to buy a new android-device I first want to be certain that it is compatible with the Amplifi. Kind regards, G.
TheRealZap
they don't regularly expand on android devices that they test. there are far too many to test on a wide level. I don't think that there would ever be a comprehensive list available.... having said that... (my opinion) i would suggest that you open a ticket with the support team with your concerns: http://line6.com/company/contact/ the forums are essentially a group of users and results can vary.... but official line6 responses are often rare. Kind regards, G. Yes, my friend but did you buy it to hook up to a computer? I know I didn't. I love this amp when it works, but I just can't rely on it not to drop out or have connection issues when I need it most. I want to use Bluetooth for some backing tracks when I play live but I just don't trust it enough for that. It is great fun in the bedroom or at the cottage. Flitske
I have indeed updated the firmware to version 2.10 and have also downloaded the last Android version for Playstore. Also performed a factory reset of the Amplifi but without any result. I can pair the Amplifi with my Android Smartphone but I am unable to sync the Amplifi with the smartphone in the Amplifi Remote app.

Yeah, there are definable more variables concern BT when playing live. An mp3 player into the aux in would be the way to go.
