Evorgeloc Posted June 27, 2015 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Please excuse my nievity - when connecting my Firehawk to a Stagesource Lt3 is it better to use xlr or 1/4" Jack or, I suspect, it doesn't make any difference? My second question is what might I gain from a stereo connection and how would I do this - do I need a second amp/speaker? Thank you in anticipation...... mcbeddall Posted June 27, 2015 Share Posted June 27, 2015 The lt3 has 2 speakers so it will be legit stereo and sound fuller to your ears, especially when using stereo delays/chorus etc but if your part of a band and playing to a crowd then in my opinion it makes no difference, because the speakers are so close together in the cab your average audience member won't hear any difference and sometimes it can even sound a bit washed out when compared to running in mono, I mean with the sound guys we usually get I'm happy if my guitar can be heard in the mix so I rarely bother them with setting it up in stereo, it only seems to make them even more grumpy than they already are when I ask lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
